all these opponents are gbp fighters and this list is garbage especially angulo.

first canelo and now this garbage list.

    gbp is ruining boxing.

and floyd is not going to be fighting at 38.

he got caught hard against a non-roided mosely and a blooded mouth against cotto who was then handily beat by trout, who looked like he just stepped out of a salon after their fight.

the signs are there at 36.

you just have to open your eyes to see them.

Mayweather will fight whoever lines up best on his risk/reward calculations. The key is to maximize the latter while minimizing the former.

He took a good fight in Cotto, his first since ODLH. He won't take another one for a long time.

Him and Bop Aroom have big problems. You can tell from the Showtime interview where he said something about not putting money in Top Ranks pocket. So all of you calling him names for not taking Bradley or Pac fights realize that it's a Bob Arum Floyd Mayweather problem not a Floyd scared/ducking problem. If Floyd really wants to be considered great he should go for a Martinez fight at 160. If he doesn't cool he's still an ATG, but he shouldn't get mad when others place Leonard and company above him.

He doesn't fight Top Rank fighters. Kill Bob Arum and the fight might happen. Not gonna happen as long as Arum is a dick/alive.

I laugh at how many people don't realize the politics behind Golden Boy n Floyd with Top Rank. They simply will not make fights. Period. When Pac or Bradley leave Top Rank or when Floyd joins Top Rank, than they are worth discussing. Otherwise, they quite literally are not. Might as well talk about hypothetical match ups between NBA teams and basketball teams in China.

The only recent exceptions were Lara vs. Vanes, which went to a purse bid and the rematch fell apart, and Gamboa vs. PDL, which was a random crazy miracle.

wasn't it the reason that he came out retirement was to fight a top rank fighter (Pacquiao)?

....or Floyd was just telling you what you want to hear/bullshittin'?

In boxing, 30 months is like 4000 light years. No way can he know more than a bout or two ahead of time who his opponent will be. Sure you make a list but only the first two can be inked in.

At 160 Floyd will look like Chris Arreola. Won't happen.

When Floyd came back in 09 his hitlist consisted of

Marquez, pacquiao, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto. It's impressive how Floyd nailed them all save manny who would do anything to duck him.

What's also amazing is how they brought Ortiz back on track for a Mayweather fight despite his **** up

I agree with you this time around. I don't see Floyd fighting once every five months for 2.5 more years.
