Roberto Duran did at 5'7 with a 66/67inch reach, plus bare in mind he started off at 119lbs in his debut. I suppose it's all about levels to the greatness one wants to be. Duran was willing to test himself, Floyd likes to wait until the time suits him I.e another fighter beats the opponent, wait until the fighter has started to slip, just totally ignore the fighter. The Floyd ***s, I mean fans buy into anything he says.
Roberto is an ATG and one in a million. He wasn't any where near as effective at MW as he was at lower weights. Mayweather does not share Duran's lack of fear of losing, and Duran did lose A LOT at the higher weight.
Not saying he was but unlike Mayweather he was willing to test himself despite being undersized. Mayweather can compete at 160, he may lose and that is what worries him, he loves the 0 too much to actually put himself on a platform which is either level or tilted against him.
Who knows. As time forwards and Mayweather ages perhaps he can fight at that weight, but looking at his father and uncle, it is doubtful.
Mayweather beats GGG, too smart and too skilled. Mayweather is the best fighter of his generation easily. About the IV, he didn't do anything illegal according to NSAC and USADA, so stfu already... There's a reason why no credible media talks about it, because he was within the rules to do so... So pathetic you haters are, computer warriors lol ***gots
Hypothetically, he could have success at middleweight but would have be matched up carefully. He'd probably weigh in well below 160 and stay at a more comfortable weight for him.
Mayweathers as big as cotto and a better fighter but without his typical reach advantage he wouldn't have anywhere near the same success
