Funny, I didn't see people leaving before the end OR people booing, are you SURE PBF-Baldo was more entertaining? The evidence doesn't support your theory. :deal

I disagree. No fight is more boring than baldo fight, followed by the jmm fight.

Though this fight is indeed one-sided, I doesn't transcend the true sense boringness. Atleast one of the fighter has an insane work rate and showing the public some clinic how angles works. The baldo fight is just plain boring, neither fighter is aggressive enough, just one guy pot shotting once in a while.

Baldomir fight wasn't as bad in the first half as it was in the second half.

Floyd hurt/broke his hand. Hard to do a lot with that specially when the guy you're facing has a granite chin.

Did you post on the right thread? Dont be paranoid, noone's questioning Floyd's skill here.

Indeed, Clottey's chin is rock solid!

    ...

I was talking about why the fight was rather dull in the 2nd half.

Clearly that went over your head.

I can see your point. Clottey just seemed to do nothing to make this fight. Baldo has significantly more heart than Clottey and more willing to go "out on his shield".

But also, no matter who you think is better, Pac is a more lethal opponent than PBF. Not saying that PBF can not beat Pac, but its easier to commit yourself when fighting PBF that Pac.

To say one fight is more/less exciting than the other is insignificant, both were just showcases for the star.

For those who enjoyed it, cool. You have every right to spend your time or money however you want. I personally thought this fight was not worth a cent from my pocket. I went out and later watched the fight online for free at home. In my opinion this was the best plan for watching the fight. Sure, Manny was dazzling with his million punches per round. But what you saw isn't any different than what can be seen in his training videos. In order for the fight to be interesting Clottey had to bring it. He didn't do this. He did exactly what was expected, which was stand like a statue the entire fight. Clottey couldn't keep his romance for Pac under control and appeared to be happy with just collecting his purse. I hate to say it but if you paid for the fight, you were robbed. It was like watching Manny practice on a punching bag which is something I would never pay to watch. If it had been Floyd who was in there in a shell guard, at least it would've been fun to see him lose and be dominated for the first time.
