Yeah, but he needs a Mosley to draw like that.
Mosley is a nice guy who fights everyone, and he is tough and skilled.

Mayweather needs Mosley to have a big PPV.

Floyd won't draw jack **** against a nate campbell or Paulie Malignaggi. You know this.

    Terrible ethics for a fighter.

YOu can respect his skill but that is all. Anyone who follows floyd is funamentally damaged.

  7. **** the numbers, the fans should not be talking this ****. The day the fight comes down to pure money is the day boxing is dead.

Yes. That's why people want to see Floyd take a tough challenge.

Disagree. In doing this, Pac could be the first welterweight to clean up the division and assert total dominance at this weight in this era. He's gotten so much criticism in the past for not cleaning up a division and establishing an actual title reign, this is the perfect way to answer those critics, and answer those critics in what's one of the best and deepest divisions in boxing. That's a boon to his legacy.

And if he never fights Mayweather, it won't even matter, because his welterweight reign would have included the #1 (at the time) welterweight (Cotto), #5 welterweight (Clottey), and #6 welterweight (Margarito) in the span of a single year. I can't think of another welterweight in years who accomplished a comparable feat. Considering Mayweather was at welterweight for longer and has only one victory against an elite welterweight (like it or not, Judah was considered a top welter at the time), history won't look as kindly upon him by comparison.

People are right when they say that Mayweather needs Pac more than Pac needs Mayweather. Not because Pac has better options (they have the same options), but because Pac is willing to clean up the division but Mayweather only wants to fight the highest grossing fight he can, and nothing else*.

*Contingent upon Mayweather not fighting Mosley. My point is withdrawn if he does fight Mosley

Probably, or to see him face adversity.

Who wants to watch a guy cake walk over an easy challenge?
Might as well pay $55 to watch him spar.

No matter who Floyd fights they will say the say...he ran and pot shot...they won't mention how the other guys punch percent dropped or how floyd put on a clinic. It's not about adversity, it's about him losing...and most who dislike him want him to lose badly. That's cool just don't act like your interest is in the greater good for the sport.
