Mayweather beat a much better version of Hatton than Pacquaio did. FACT!

You can discredit a win with pretty much anything. These gus are pros, they know how to fight their fights when it comes down to it.

Agreed, the core point for me would be that the Lazcano fight gave us a better idea of where Ricky was than the Paulie fight did.

What I can admit, it that despite my post I still think Pac is hell of a fighter and an ATG. Do i think Floyd is better, absolutely, but Pac is great too. Neither one of them are cowards, and the fight needs to happen ASAP.

We can go back and forth on a fighter forever if we constantly change our mind fight by fight on how he looks.

"Oh he's back!...Wait, he's not looking too good....Oh ****, he really IS back!"

Take Pac for a recent Example. He didn't look like his destructive self vs. JMM. But if he does vs. Bradley then what?

Cotto looked himself looked better vs. Mosley then he did vs. Torres, getting wobbled badly in that fight.

Agreed. :thumbsup I know I am Floyd hater #1 here, but I've never called him a coward. I save my insults for posters. One might not believe this, but YEARS ago, when there were very few Floyd fans posting, I was on. Of course, he was at 130 and 135 at the time and still took the big challenges. :D Hell, I remember when I was called a fanboy because I said a 135 Floyd would beat Kostya Tszyu at 140!!
    :rofl

Again you have a point, but false dawns are a common occurance.
If Pacquaio runs through Bradley the opinion will be that 1. Marquez is a better fighter than Bradley and 2. Styles make fights, not outrageous claims by any means.

Cotto fought Torres at 140lbs if memory serves me,and it was evident the weight loss was bothering him, E.G the Paulie fight. At WW he fought Quintana, then Judah, then Mosley so it was a solid progression where he looked better each time against better opposition.

Lazcano was a semi-retired Lightweight who would of had no business going 12 rounds with a prime Hatton let alone winning some of them or hurting him. The next opponent was Paulie who doesn't punch hard or often, factor in his lack of physical strength and slower feet than Hatton and he really was the perfect come back to the main stream opponent.

It's like Jones beating Trinidad to set up his fight with Calzaghe in a sense; Fight a guy who has name value, will garner publicity and HBO coverage, yeet who has no real conceivable advantage over you.

Then< I would think you would remember that it was Arum who put the Correlas fight in Jeopardy. Floyd was being called scared because he could not get Arum to make the fight. Or, with Oscar and Tito, when Oscar was crowned chicken De La Hoya because he couldn't get Arum to make the fights. Both guy threaten to leave and get their fights. Then leave Arum because he manipulated their careers, making great fighters seem like hype jobs.

Not really. Margo destroyed him. Cotto was damaged after that loss and has not looked the same since. Although he has rebounded somewhat, but how much, this remains uncertain, because Margo wasn't the same, Plaster of paris or otherwise.

Wow *****s getting desperate. Who gives a **** ******? Won't change the fact that Floyd is ducking PAC like a *****. Also won't change the fact that PAC has accomplished more. Now STFU and accept facts.

Peak hatton :patsch You dumbass, Pac fought Hatton like a year / year 1/2 after Floyd fought him. It would been the same result any time.

140 is Hatton's career weight, and he actually said after the Floyd fight that 147 wasn't a good weight for him.

:blood Are you generally ******ed Gander? Do you carry some sort of disability which stops you reading properly?

Try and keep up here please sweetheart...

Where in any of my posts, have I claimed that Hatton was peak when he took on Floyd Mayweather? If you're capable of reading my post that you quoted it says 'A peak Hatton would of given him a rough night' no where does it say 'The Hatton that Floyd fought would of gave Pacquaio a rough night' I never specified when Hatton peaked, I just made a general observation about him not being at that peak form when he took on Pacquaio.

    Jesus christ :tired
