Forget GGG. He's 33 and still has not one ATG or HOF on his resume. Cotto vs Mayweather 2 I would love to see though.

possible as he has speed to just run around him until the final bell. question is, what if he gets tagged a la mosley? will his chin hold up to ggg's power. like pac, that is their fight's intangible. ggg has way more power than pac and has different good boxing skills.

People like you are calling Floyd coward and showing fear you think a pro boxer most of his life is afraid of climbing the ring, you are disrespecting one of the best boxer ever.

Mayweather isn't a coward. He stepped in the ring with Pacquiao. Does that mean he wasn't scared? No. They were moments when Floyd seriously looked scared. I think he had this perception of who Pacquiao was, but it really didn't exist or at least doesn't anymore. They both were scared though. Didn't seem comfortable with each other at all. Floyd got comfortable at the end. He's got him figured out and knows that Pac isn't the monster people made him out to be- at least anymore.

On the actual topic on hand, Gennady Golovkin would KO Mayweather and decapitate Pacquiao. It wouldn't even be competitive, and Mayweather/GGG won't happen. So, everyone should just stop now.

Be realistic abuffy Mayweather got in there with an injured Paquaio who had been railroaded by the NSAC refusing him painkillers that had already been cleared by USADA While Floyd used Xylocaine & Illegal drugs to combat dehydration.
Pacquaio had no chance to win BUT he damn near did on any legitimate & unbiased scorecard . That 118-110 was just further proof of corruption.
Given a level playing field anywhere but Vegas & I still say a 100% fit Pac beats Mayweather. GGG would annihilate Mayweather

Golovkin has offered to fight Void at 154, but Void ran away. Golovkin would knock Void out, beat him to death...............

LOL, again at the haters. Ggg, wouldn't hit Floyd. If Monroe Jr, was able to bust him up and tire him somewhat what do you thing Floyd at 154 would do to him. Ggg, will missed 95% of his punches and would be gassed by the 5th round and Floyd would box his ears off. Facts. But, its an excuse fight for him being weight drain. So, a mute fight.

I think Golovkin is the only guy in a reasonable weight area who can beat him

Nobody at welter is going to do it and nobody below it is going to do it

I know people go on and on about the skill level of Lara and Andrade but I just don't see it. Andrade can be hit by the right hand and has no signature victories that prove what he can do and Lara has a left hand and some movement and that's kind of it

In a 12 round fight with Golovkins ability to cut off the ring, apply pressure, jab and hit the body Mayweather will be on the ropes plenty in a Golovkin fight and he will get hit. People think that Golovkin will miss his punches all night, you guys think in 36 minutes a very talented boxer like Golovkin isn't going to hit Floyd at all? Golovkin is also a guy that doesn't need to land much to achieve much

This would be a tremendous obstacle for Floyd late in his career but it would be amazing to see him attempt to achieve middleweight glory and not by rehashing old wins

It's hard to know how this fight would play out because who knows how GGG can perform at 154 lbs. There would be too many variables in play- specifically Gennady's power and stamina at the weight.

It would be a very dangerous fight for FLoyd, probably his most dangerous especially when you factor in he's really in the twilight of his career. This would be much more dangerous than him fighting any of the 160 lbs MW's. I think the risk is way too high, especially at this stage in his career.
