i didn't mention anything about the idea of SRL fighting Floyd, I was just stating he has won in 5 divisions like Ray Leonard.

And that fight is a stupid one to hypothesize about, Ray leonard is the naturally much larger man. He won a title at SMW for Christ's sake.

Guys that Floyd should be matched up against are guys that are actually of his size like Roberto Duran, Benny leonard, Henry Armstrong, Hawk Pryor, Ceasar Chavez Jr, etc.

Floyd didn't even start fighting at WW until almost 10 years after he turned professional. At this stage in his career he walks around at 150-153 lbs naturally, so it's easily conceivable that if he wanted to he could make JWW pretty easily. Ray leonard started out at 147 buddy, FLoyd started at 130.

And before we nitpick these guys styles, Ray leonard might be arguably one of the top 3 offensive fighters of all time (up there with Greb and SRR,) but FLoyd is exponentially a MUCH better defensive fighter. He's up there with pep and Whitaker, no one else comes close.

Ray would have his number and KO him within 7 and it would have been an easier fight than Floyd's dad.

And let's not forget that SRL started pro at 141.

Last night was also the first night that Mayweather unified any titles.
