Mayweather did tear Hatton up on the inside. Some brilliant subtle work. Mayweather has his own set of dirty tricks on the inside, and was catching Hatton with good shots, especially the right uppercut to the body when their other arms were locked up.

Well if they are the rules why did he not enforce them in the Calzaghe/ B-Hop fight?

Biast US referee stiching up a foreigner.

the rules according to joe cortez could mean absolutley anything he wants them to mean.

in his last 3 high profile fights he reffed differently everytime so boxers now do not have a clue where they stand with him.

    Hmm Cortez was atrocious

But Mayweather is underestimated inside. Watch him in the Castillo fight as well, he does just fine at toe to toe. He just doesn't have that sort of mental disposition to engage in it regularly.

As someone said above already he has a ton of dirty tricks and he used them all in that fight.

It was either masterful preperation and planning by team Mayweather or just ultimate instinct for multiple styles and Cortez not stopping him.

Hatton is not a good inside fighter the only thing he does on the inside is grab.
