Mayweather better than ali??

The thing about Floyd is we have never really see him face adveristy in or out the ring Ali of course did many times. Beat Liston when few gave him a chance dropped by Cooper heavily he stops him in the next round losing to Frazier then overcoming the odds to beat a seemingly unstopable Foreman losing to Norton and avenging it. On top of that all of the Vietnam malarky his civil rights stand, imprisonment.

All we see of Floyd is all this money his comfortable lifestyle his fights all looks EASY too easy that people question the level of his opponents. Floyd has never been the underdog or had to come from behind in anything during his entire life. Forget the ghetto sob story his dad and uncle where world class boxers im sure he didnt have it that bad.

Despite all this it makes us hard to gauge Floyds performances as he has never really had to overcome any obstacles any real adversity in the ring he has never had to come back from multiple knockdowns/losses to avenge himself. Because of this it is held agaisnt him the fact being that he might just be so good that he makes every fight looks easy.

Its hard to tell so far because he hasnt fought Shane or Floyd probably the hardest fights of his career. I fancy him to win both fairly easily if he does surely that proves he is one of the greatest even if it doesnt have the drama.

Maybe he will only get rocognition if he retires after Pacquiao and Alexander/Khan/Bradley reach American superstar status and he comes out of retirement in 3-4 years time and schools one of them whith him being the underdog then he might get the recognition

 

He'll have to retire after Pac if he does fight him, because he'll get a serious beating.

Ali needs PBF, If they fought at a catchweight He would get his biggest pay cheque against PBF, just like Hatton, Just like Mosely.......... PBF is a prizefighter!! lol

On another note, was talking to my uncle about this weeks fight between Shane and PBF and I told him how PBF says he's the greatest, my uncle shrugged, shook his head and said Ali would be turning in his grave!!!!

 

Yep, but that was in reference to people scrutinising PBF's record when in fact Pacs has many more holes in it
