I wish mayweather have your confidence so he can finally stop avoiding Pacquiao.

To say his skills is superior is most likely true but it's a bit far fetched to say Mayweather's skill is too superior for Manny

    excellent post.

Floyd never wanted to test his skills against the style clashes like Tszu, margarito, Cotto because he never wants to experience Castillo 1 again. In his prime he got man handled the entire second half of the fight and his boxing skills couldn't stop anything castillo did.

But he will simply out box Manny without getting tested at WW which is by far his softest career point ?

    Your conclusion is logical.
when you have a bubble like the unbeatable Mayweather there is no logic. Floyd fans are still in the mania phase.
Like stocks Manny has technical support with his resume vs much better opposition. Floyd really has not proved anything at Welter. All the signs of too much hype for no real reason. A real unbeatable fighter would he be sitting on the sidelines making tshirts ? I doubt it.

Nice analogy, I gues this means that *****s have fallen into a "bull-trap" soon to followed by denial, fear, desperation and then finally resignation when Manny does eventually spark Mayweather out......that's if Floyd ever finds his urge:deal

I used to think this. But most of those rounds where Ricky got inside I think Mayweather allowed him to because hes better there too. The cards surprised me first time around.

Also while Ricky was a natural LWW, Mayweather wasnt exactly a big WW. Hes filled into the weight now. Looked physically stronger than Mosley.

    Not according to this!

Idiots are comparing it at the wrong punch stat department!!!!!

Instead of seeing how Pac and Mosley were able to land against Mosley (which obviously Pac landed more and more significantly, landed more power shots - 177 vs. 123), they should actually see how Mosley landed against both fighters.

And that is where Gayweather will go on vacation again.

The myth that Pac is so open to punches is just that, myth.

Mosley connected a total of 66 punches against Pac vs. 92 against Gayweather, and in the power punches, 22 punches connected against Pac the entire 12 rounds versus 46 when he fought Mosley.

And that was against a jittery Mosley. Assuming that Pac is so poor offensively, simply doubling Mosley's output is not far fetch - and that is enough to extend the vacation again.

The defensive genius actually eating more leather than the one-dimensional midget.

Oh *****s if Floyd have the same confidence you have.

That KD on 3rd is a strong signal to Floyd. Yes skillwise not contest Floyd is superior, but the mofo don't have the balls to back it up.

Floyd only fight once in a while. If he fought as often as Pac,
he would have been defeated already.

Mosley was coming fwd against Money May

That's the problem, after rematching castillo there were some huge fights out there: casamayor, freitas, tszu all 3 p4p rated, prime and right at the top of their divisions. Instead floyd fights ndou, brussels, corley and gatti. Shocking fight selection. After beating baldomir (technically the man so I can understand) he should have fought margo, he chooses judah a guy who just got beat.

Fighting hoya and hatton gained him deserved credit, two great victories and his first since castillo. So now we have a deserved p4p welterweight champ in boxings deepest division, cotto and williams both p4p rated and prime floyd retires. When he returns the worlds best ww is now an old man and even then we have an 18 month wait. Then instead of fighting pac, p4p rated and prime he bloody retires again!

People believing in his skillset are crazy he just isn't proven as a ww.

With pac the only fights i'd replace are ayala towards the end of his sbw run. Campbell and jmm instead of diaz and hoya. Berto instead of margo. But the difference is between these fights pac has fought the best in the world at their weight class.

Mosley knows Floyd does not have the ability to TKO him.
