I believe Manny's clean, he did make concessions about osdt (7 or 14 days cutoff, depending the sources, and blood testing after the fight). Let's not forget these blood samples can still be re-tested in the futur when detections techniques improve. And cheaters will be caught (Marion Jones got busted and her medals were gone).

I considered Floyds demand as bull**** because depite its apparent legitamacy (cleaning up the sport) he didn't bother to go further as to contact nevada's boxing comission. So that was only PR communication.

The general concensus amongst boxers, specialists and public, start to believe that Floyd's just ducking as he has done in the past. You know why? Because Floyd is inconsistent with his claims and actions. Live with it.

 

Everyone on ESB should agree to never make another thread involving floyd or pac until they stop disgracing themselves because you are all showing them 1000 times more respect than they have showed you the past 2 yrs.... they both know how badly the fans that made them rich want the fight but floyd is happy to remain inactive & pac is happy to let arum choose his fights knowing full well that it will be vs anyone but floyd.

5 division titles is still quite a feat, but will be common in 10-15 years when you have 4 to 5 belt holders from each class you can pick and choose to fight.... if floyd fought a guy like sergio, winky, vernon, he may not have gotten his 154 belt...but fighting an old dlh who had lost 2 of previous 4 and 2 fights away from retiring..whoopie

 

Because every other fighter is not earning 30 M plus for WHOEVER they fight. Floyd doesn't need 'a shot' at Pacquiao, these guys are on the same level. Their negotiation won't be such that one side writes the contract and the other signs. They are both the best fighters/names of this generation.

Funny how OSDT is a 'bull**** demand' and $1,000,000 fine per pound over the 147 limit (which Floyd agreed to) was not. I wonder if someone took a survey on how many of the same people calling OSDT a 'bull**** demand' were chastising and vilifying Barry Bonds WITH NO PROOF during that whole Balco scandal. I imagine the hypocrisy would be abundantly clear.

 

OSDT was PR talk from Mayweather but Manny agreed about OSDT but its implementation (cut off dates) were the unsolvable issue.
The 1,000,000 dollars fine only applies if you cheat on the scales. Not restricive at all for a fair boxer.

Wasnt Arum, Floyd's promoter before he left him? after Floyd bought out hes contract he fought, DLH, Hatton, Marquez and Mosley. IMO Arum is just doing the same thing with Pacquiao, easy money...
