Well Atleast if this classic fight is on ppv we get to see how big of a draw mayweather truly is "ppv King" 👏👏
This is a fight Mayweather will be carrying ALL by himself, kinda the same way Pacquiao carried the Algieri fight by himself. With that said, I guess we can expect maybe 600K buys, just slightly more than Pac/Algieri. It wouldn't shock me if it turned out to be around what Pac made though(450K).
gotta look on thebright side, we might see floyd go out on his shield during this one and go hard for the KO given the skill difference your looking at between the 2 fighters
Berto is an exciting fighter though. Algieri was exciting vs Khan but Berto is more explosive, more entertaining for sure. So it may sell more on that premise. This is a terrible fight from a match up standpoint, Berto is a gatekeeper at this point, but he's exciting to watch and has heart. He won't be exciting against Floyd though, he won't have a chance.
Don't get me wrong. I don't have complaints about Berto in the heart, skill or excitement category. The guy comes to fight. But, he is not reallly a top guy in the division. And he should not jump the line ahead of more deserving opposition. But it is what it is. I'm not paying for this though. If the undercard is super stacked...maybe. Otherwise, fock no.
