Mayweather, Calzaghe - why rate Mayweather higher?

Floyd is better....In every aspect of boxing... Hand speed, accuracy, DEFENSE BY A MILE, Foot work, Ring generalship. If Floyd was a jab dependent fighter China Hand would have a point. But he beats guys with more EASE and better level competition at a young age etc etc. He is just plain better. Calzaghe makes mistakes..Floyd rarely does if ever.

 

How? the only thing he is mentioning is Calzaghes jab, which is not his best weapon at all. Floyd is a BETTER more effecient puncher then him to the BODY as Floyd is the most well rounded body puncher in the sport. LOOK AT ANY FIGHT. His jab to the body is like a baseball bat his lead right is lethal. His hooks to the body are just as effective as the so called big body punchers. Calzaghe wins fights on bull**** ODH style flurries and struggled with many fighters throughout his career. Floyd NONE. Calzaghe is a generic Floyd. Floyd is Coca-Cola. Calzaghe is the Cola that is .99. END THREAD

 

Joey boy comes forward and throws lots of punches b/c of his lack of defense. Seems to be a trend with British boxers. If calzaghe did not come forward and punch in bunches like he does he would sit back and get knocked out. He falls in forward with his horrible posture and balance. He almost lands on his face sometimes and he holds a hell of a lot as well. He also has no power in his straight shots and his WHOLE TECHNIQUE IS WHAT>>>SLOPPY>......

 

This thread is flawed. At best, Calzaghe is in 3-5 on most peoples top 10 P4P list. This is just a subtle way to get people into thinking Calzaghe is even close to the top!

 

You do realise that referring to a retired (save for the mini comeback) boxer by his initials who you claim is forgotten, you are assuming that everyone knows who you're talking about right?
