It seems the camp of undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr keeps raising different issues on a daily basis on the planned super fight against pound-for-pound king king Manny Pacquiao set for March 13 at either the $1.2 billion state-of-the-art stadium of the Dallas Cowboys or the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

It began when Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer at the last minute refused to fly to Dallas, Texas to meet with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones despite the fact that the trip had been talked about for days by the media.

Then the Mayweather advisers Leonard Ellerbe and Al Hayman demanded that Pacquiao undergo an Olympic-type drug testing with Ellerbe insinuating what Floyd Mayweather Sr has been openly alleging and that is, that Pacquiao is on some performance-enhancing drug despite the fact that Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission reiterated that the boxing hero had been tested before and after every fight and showed absolutely no trace of any illegal substance.

In their latest caper, according to Ringside Report by managing editor Geno McGahee, Mayweather Jr has threatened to pull-out over a weight issue. While Pacquiao agreed to put his WBO welterweight title on the line at 147 pounds and wants Mayweather to pay a huge penalty for every pound above the limit which would be a bigger amount than the $600,000 he paid Juan Manuel Marquez for being two pounds over the agreed limit in their October 2 fight. McGahee says Mayweather wants some “wiggle room” on the weight issue and this is being contested by Team Pacquiao.

Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach has made it clear that he doesn’t want Pacquiao who has risen to win seven world titles in seven different weight divisions to give Mayweather an undue weight advantage and rightfully so.

Ringside Report quotes a source as saying that the Mayweather camp has suggested an in-between bout in March with Pacquiao facing Yuri Foreman, the WBO light middleweight champion and Mayweather facing Matthew Hatton, the brother of Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton.

In an overseas telephone conversation with www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports, Arum said “your guess is as good as mine” when asked when a final agreement on the Mayweather fight could be expected.

The astute Top Rank promoter said “we solve one problem Mayweather makes another problem. Everyday, there’s another problem.” Arum added, “let’s see whether we can get it resolved tomorrow.

One of the issues up front is the venue with Dallas making a guaranteed $25 million offer but the MGM Grand the preferred choice of both Pacquiao and Mayweather who, according to David Mayo of the Grand Rapids Press, won’t fight in either Dallas or even the Staples Center which was initially mentioned by Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. Mayo reported that Schaefer has to clear all decisions with the Mayweather people and they don’t want either Los Angeles or Dallas as the fight venue.

Good info, uncle Bob is right on. It almost makes it sound like Floyd is ducking Pacquiao.

Man the number of uneducated losers here is disturbing. You know what Arum's Job?, he's a PROMOTER. A promoter is a guy you pay to make you look good even if you look bad and promoters rely a lot on BULL**** to promote their guys and LIES. He is being PAID for that, you know what PAID means?, it's when you earn money doing whatever you do(most likely fruit shop vendor in this case) and spend it on a certain service and that's what Bob Arum is offering Manny Pacquiao who PACQUIAO chose as a promoter. So don't expect ANYTHING negative regarding Pacquiao from Bob Arum, look for other sources NOT working for either guy.

I hope I made things clear there, if I didn't, I won't be surprised, ******.

It's negotiations - it builds the expectation. There is no way these guys will let the richest fight in history get away from them both - it would be insanity.

6. It's most likely just games. If they can keep PAC camp guessing, they can disrupt his training etc. There's got to be nothing more annoying than when you're trying to focus for the biggest fight of your life and your opponent is saying some different weird thing every day.

Think about it for a minute. They say the fight will be in March, we're mid December now going in January and still no official announcement. You expect them to announce it January with it happening March?, last big fight that went that quick was Peter/Toney II and that fight was FORCED by the WBC and rushed by both teams because they had no choice. You expect a huge fight like this to be on this quick?, I expect the training camps to last way longer and Pac just finished a fight not more than a month ago, if the fight is on March 13 both should be in camp right now nearly done with the first sessions going in step 2.

Training camps last no more than 12 weeks. So if they started camp around mid January, they'll be fine. It's pretty much a done deal already, so both guys could start training at any time if they wanted.

9. I agree with Scar. Something has felt weird about this fight from moment 1. It's as if it was almost too smooth. I suspect there will be a lot more twists and turns in the plot yet. **** I just hope it happens. If this fight does not come off boxing is in trouble.

Sounds like they want Floyd to be fighting on the night
at 147..

Rehydration clause is back for this one..

I knew this fight wouldnt be smooth sailing.

Of course Floyd wouldnt agree.

There havent been many statements come out of the
Mayweather camp at all, its because Floyd is wrapped
to get the pay day and everyone knows the result.

Floyd has all the advantages, its a clear cut fight for mine.

Rehydration clause is about all that could save Pac.

We went through all of this crap with Pac/Cotto. This is all part of the negotiation process. These things will be ironed out and the fight will happen. Relax - nobody is ducking anybody.

thebig DUCK is coming. the lil sonuvabitzche is plotting his way out of the knockout loss on mar 13.

this is why the lil sonuvabitzche is eerily quiet. he knows the fight is a fraud, like himself.

Pacquiao has won without lanidng a single punch!
