If they started mid Jan. they would only get in about 8 weeks. They would need to start now to get in a 12 week camp. You would figure both guys would need at least a ten week camp. I'll keep my fingers crossed they sign, but they don't have time to waste.

There hasnt been a statement come out of the Mayweather camp
    about anything regarding weight, etc.

People dont realise that Floyd has fought as the smaller fighter
on the night - most of his career..

Oscar had everything his own way against Floyd, gloves, ring size, etc.

Pac brang back catchweights and invented the rehydration clause.

Floyd weighed over - because the bout shouldve been at 147 in the
first place... its either 140 or 147, unless Pac runs the show..

Which is obviously whats going on..

Well I understand your reasoning but there are so many reports of different PBF demands from the Mayweather camp every week. Probably Bob was exagerating a bit but some of it is true to a certain degree.

I respect you as a poster so I won't resort to name calling.

    Peace!

pacquiao did not invent rehydration clause, it was a rumour started by your MMA *** hero ron frazier. Mayweather invented unannounced-contract-weight and change-the-contract-after-the-weigh-in clause to cheat marquez

Quite some bull**** you be pulling when you figure it is to your favor. When Arum said if Pac doesn't sign then Pac is ducking, then all you Floyd fanboys be over his nuts.

I certainly agree that promoters tend to be full of crap but don't be swinging on his nuts one second and stompin it the next.

Promoters only look out for themselves, and only for their fighter when it benefits themselves but they will backstab their own fighter ANY day if it risk them any big money.

Wiggle-room on the weight??? WTF is that???

It's a welterweight title bout... 147lb limit... end of story.

Manny's side didn't push for any catch-weight b.s. with Floyd because they knew it would'nt fly, and they didn't want to waste time dealing with this kind of crap.

Now Mayweather wants to scrap the rules and historical tradtions of the sport so he can come in weighing whatever he feels like? ... Bull****!

If he suddenly wants the fight at 154lbs... he's a *****,,, plain and simple.

Funny thing is that neither Pacquiao or Mayweather has said a word....everything you hear comes from Arum, Schaeffer, and Roach who by the way should stick to training Manny.

ACTUALLY NO...both guys do not NEED A 10 week camp...As a matter of fact, most fighters dont always change there training regime for another just because of the opponent...Floyd sticks with an 8 week camp and Pac probably does a 10 week..They both needa be in training by the 13th of jan really...gives em almost a month to relax and prep before training...

Yea they don't NEED a ten week camp. Floyd has fought once in almost 3 years going into this. He'll need as much or more time than Pac. And with the magnitude of this fight and the guy standing in the opposite corner.......?
