Canelo has a huge Mexican and Mexican American Following. That demographic is what made Mayweather-Canelo a 2.2 million PPV event.

I remember how everyone thought Cotto-Martinez would be big. It was worse than Pac v Rios. FACT! Canelo is going to get a second beat down by Mayweather, this time in PPV numbers. Canelo isn't that big of a draw. He was exposed by Floyd as a so-so fighter. B-level Maidana gave Floyd more trouble.

 

It's hilarious to hear all the haters THINKING Cotto-Canelo will outsell Mayweather. Those two are stars in PR and Mexico, respectively. Floyd is an international icon AND rest assured he will have an opponent that can pull in additional viewers.

Mayweather is the present and FUTURE of boxing...the fact he is upgrading his team shows his growth.

I'm proud of Floyd and the decisions he's making to ensure he is a CHAMP for another 20 years!!!
