WHo is heaping so much praise on Canelo?

The only reason this **** hasn't stopped is because some of you ******s are refusing to credit Canelo for this win to the extent that some of you are coming up with some bull**** conspiracy theories!

It's ok if you think that, but from my point of view Golovkin's skills are a whole level above Canelo's.

 

Canelo is not anything special! Mayweather drained him down and Canelo tried something he never has and that is box a boxer. Stupid gameplan from Canelo, especially when he is drained. Hell, a lot of people thought Trout beat him, so that's already one fighter that did what he did. Plus Canelo got shook up by Cotto's unknown brother! Yeah, Canelo was a good win for Mayweather, but now, just like his fanboy groupies on here, he is trying to make it out to be a bigger win than what it really was.

With that crappy stamina of his (specially considering he was drained), Canelo had no option but to box, pressuring Floyd would have gotten him tired much quicker and he'd be even more defenseless in the later rounds

Truth is, Canelo has very good skills and good power but he doesn't have two physical atributes that are required to beat Floyd: footspeed and stamina, two things Floyd excels at. ginger's also pretty damn green at the elite level

speedy fighters with huge stamina like a certain midget are certain no-nos for him. Last speedy fighter he fought was a shot Judah, and he made Floyd touch the canvas for the first time

 

I think he would box him even if he was at full strength. Canelo isn't a brawler, and that's precisely why he called Canelo a "different breed". That's Floyd's way of saying he was a tough opponent who, unlike most of his opponents, had the size and ability to compete in a "thinking man's game" as Floyd called it after the fight.

Well he's green in the sense that he's in his early 20s, but he's experienced. I think his stamina is underrated. He didn't fade vs Floyd, and I think that will improve. it is only a matter of time before he surpasses FMJ. You don't necessarily need more foot speed than Canelo has to beat Floyd. Floyd himself has slowed down foot speed wise.

Unlike most of Floyd's opponents, Canelo was able to keep up the pace with him. What was so different to Floyd was how Canelo was content to box and have a chess match, unlike most of Floyd's opponents who will just brawl him. Essentailly Canelo was able to compete with Floyd at his own game, that's why he gained Floyd's respect and why he calls him a "different breed".

 

Floyd its only trying to boost his own image, not Canelo's. Canelo isn't and will never be a great boxer. He is good, may be above average, but not great. Canelo's talent its his strength. Not the punching power, his overall strength. The man its built like a bull. But it's the same reason he its going up in weight quickly. And bigger guys will be able to handle that strength better.

Regarding to Lara I will say his fight against Angulo showed a lot of weaknesses. I don't know if he didn't take Angulo serious or what, but he was exposed. He managed to win. But he can't do the same mistakes against Canelo. If he does he will be destroyed. Of course, if he boxes like he is supposed to, he could beat Canelo by decision.
