Canelo was landing a couple right hands, and was throwing some body punches that were being blocked, but perhaps would still have an effect on mayweather due to the size difference.Canelo even landed low blows that didn't seem to have much of an effect on mayweather.I think had the fight been fought at 154 pounds the fight may have played out a little differently. These punches may have had more of an effect, and canelo would possibly have been able to set up more punches. Also he may not have tired down the stretch.

Why are Canelo's fans / Mayweather's haters defending something that even Canelo didn't fight against?

Canelo couldn't hit him properly. Mayweather slipped or took every shot on the gloves, plus there's nothing to prove that Mayweather would have been hurt by a simple straight from someone heavier than him.

if they fought at 154 mayweather would still come in light as **** and dance around canelo like a matador all night. there was a reason floyd wore that michael jackson outfit because he planned on moonwalking all over canelos ass lmao!!! i was rooting for canelo but the better man won what else can i say?

Canelo hit alot of air last night, if he was heavier, he would've been slower

I don't recall floyd being hurt by a body shot and he has a good chin to boot

They were not on the same level, why is that so hard to understand?

It still woudln't have mattered. Canelo still wouldn't have been able to hit PBF enough. WHat you fail to realize is that PBF would always beat Canelo styles advantag here. Canelo is a boxer puncher and PBF can beat him at his own game.

Ginger boy was like a deer in the headlights against the boxing mastermind. He could barely touch Floyd and when he did Floyd smiled.

Canelo entered the ring at 165 and Floyd never gained an ounce, Canelo was too big in the ring come fight time. He was like 3 toed sloth in there and he was hitting air most of the night. It was almost a humiliating defeat, certainly one of the most lopsided undefeated match ups i have seen. Canelo was way out of his league here. He is only 23 , he will learn from this and the first thing he needs to do is stop ballooning up to 165lb post weigh in!

Drained 7 lbs from his last fight and he's still too big? If he was like a 3 toed sloth in there, then that sounds like you think he was less than 100% and not at his best.

It was a lopsided undefeated match up because of Floyd Money Mayweather and his Catchweight demand. Floyd made the fight lopsided, not by his skill, but by his need to cheat Canelo and the fans out of a fair fight. Floyd made the fight lopsided by his Catchweight, but Canelo still fought a closer fight than any FMJ opponent since DLH.

i like both fighters. only one of those guys put on a boxing lesson and it wasnt anywhere as close as a few are saying it was. To those who say canello was floyds best fight since ODH?? i think you have no real sense of the art of boxing. Thank god you are not a trainer because if you are then i feel for the students you teach:-:)patsch if you spoon feed them this kind of "wisdom":deal

canelo could have the punching power of wladimir klitschko and not have made a single difference since the air doesn't care how hard you hit it
