No he wouldn't after every PBF fight there's always an excuse. I can't think of one fight yet that someone didn't cry for some reason. After the fight they would either criticize the way PBF won or downplay Canelo as some Mexican hype job and that PBF is ducking Garcia or somebody else to fight a hypejob in Canelo he proved nothing and needs to fight a real threat.:deal
Then dont go after those people as their bias clouds their judgement. Mayweather gets his credit and as with any other fighter they cant please everyone. True boxing fans respect Floyd and his abilities even if they dont like him as a fighter. Go after people like me. Constructive critics.
Obvious? Obvious to people who don't know boxing and don't realize that defense wins championships. PBF was the betting favorite in that fight and beats any version of that flawed one dimensional coma victim.:deal
No just making a point. How is that Dawson who's a huge LHW and is 30 can make SMW but a 22 year old can't make WW?
Dawson has come in several pounds under 175 several times prior to his fight with Ward and has said he could make 168 if he wanted too. It was HIS choosing to come down to 168. He wasn't forced into anything. On the flip side, I just don't think Canelo could make 147 even if he tried. I mean he might but he would be in no shape to fight. He's a big 154 lb fighter as is. Age has nothing to do with this.
Good post all around and I agree age ain't got nothing to do with making a weight limit, if that were the case that's like saying the Tyson who beat Berbick could have made the cruiserweight limit of 190 pounds just because he was only 20 years old and not a tall heavyweight.
