Floyd-JMM is still a month away, and posters still think the fight is doing poorly because of ticket sales which shows me that you have no clue how tickets sell, let alone who was the draw in ppv fights lol...

Mayweathers noncommital fight style is a boring tedious agonizing thing to watch and only when there is a slight hope someone may knock his ass out am I willing to watch his boring ass.

Yes, this thread is about Hatton saying that Floyd can't sell tickets and guess what? He's right. Floyd couldn't do **** without a supporting castmember's big following and low and behold, Marquez has a big following so Floyd just parked himself into another big numbers fight that he could use as evidence to support his "popularity." You know I'm right so you start throwing out the insults, which is typical considering that you worship a guy who has such **** charisma that he has to dig deep to force that whole "bad boy" persona. I'm not embarassed in the least bit. I don't need to be a boxer to make a valid point. If that were the case then we wouldn't need boxing writers or commentators. I don't recall Al Bernstein ever being a fighter yet he knows the sport as well as anyone. I stick to what I say because I have all the evidence I need in seeing who Mayweather fights. If Floyd took a different approach and didn't run his mouth I would respect him more even in light of who he faces in the ring. Now granted, I'm nobody's pundit but I just happen to have more respect for paper champs like Felix Sturm or Zsolt Erdei who are perfectly ok with just getting by without fighting the best than a guy like Mayweather who will declare himself the best without actually proving it. If you're the best then fight the best. If not, then just be quiet and sit on your title. After a while nobody will even care and you can continue making good money fighting easy opponents.

 

PBF will care because if (when) the pac-cotto fight outsells his jmm fight he ain't gonna be able to claim nothing about being the main draw if he fights the pac.....

 

Most people I know that watch Floyd fight isn't for the (great) fight. It's to see if he gets his safety first butt KTFO. There is not much entertainment in his fights.

 

He did about approx 360+K vs, Baldomir, Gatti, and Judah... are those #'s of someone who should expect 13 to 20 mill to fight?
