Hopkins my friend...is slow as ****. Does he have to be fighting a slow as **** fighter to land??? You really have NO IDEA what timing is, do you?
And you called MY post the worst you have ever read? atsch You need speed to time unless you are fighting a turtle or some other slow creature, like Andrade.
Power=Pavlik Speed=Pavlk Ring Intelligence=even Workrate=Pavlik Timing/distance=EVEN PavlikKO9 If Joe had power he probably wouldve Kod Slopkins, Kelly does hence the easy pick
I am sure Pavlik will get dropped in this fight. Don't think Hops has it in him to stop this kid anymore but I'm as sure as eggs is eggs, Pavlik will be visiting the canvas.
I don't see Pavlik getting KD. The guy has a solid chin and i don't see Hopkins risking a KO unless if he's in complete control which will be hard to do when you're just playing a safe and defensive fight like Hopkins will no doubt do.
Not at all - Calzaghe & Pavlik are completely different fighters. I think Pavlik goes down because he is wide open to Hopkins rights hand for long periods of time when he throws a punch. Also based on previous Pavlik fights where he's been dropped three times against fighters who are completely inferior to Hopkins in almost every aspect of the game.
Bhop does not have the stamina to deal with Pavlik. He could of let this one pass and nobody would of thought he was ducking him. He is past his best and this is not Calzaghe slapping at him, this is KP...
As I said when I PREDICTED (yes I am going to ride that wave for the rest of my time here LOL) that Calzaghe would get knocked down...its not about chin or power (from the punch), its about getting hit with a punch that you never saw coming. Im not predicting a KD yet...gotta do more research on Pavlik...but I wouldnt be suprised. NOONE sees that lead/counter right of Bernard's.
You're a big Pavlik fan, I see. Speed=Pavlk Ring Intelligence=Hopkins Workrate=Pavlik Timing/distance=Hopkins
I think he does. Calzaghe's pressure is harder to deal with in terms of preserving your stamina because he comes from so many angles and is jumping in and out. It will be easier for Hopkins to stay away from the methodical Pavlik.
