Who gives a **** about the catchweight? Did you fools remember Winky fighting him at 170? Pavlik will be more than comfortable anywhere below 175 no harm done to that young man at all.

For what it is worth this is on Wiki as a rumor. Of course that could have just been put in there by an unreliable source.

Tho I dont think the original poster was serious...and it was funny...the one thing Williams has shown is that he has a hell of a chin. Dont agree with this at all...sorry bro.

And this fight in on PPV?????

Yeah, I'm going to spend $50 to see two men clinch every 15 seconds. Not a snowballs ****ing chance in hell.

He didn't come close to TKO'ing Taylor and Pavlik is stronger than Taylor. Pavlik wins easy decision. Hopkins should retire.

Hopkins was huffing and puffing at the end of the Calzaghe fight and Pavlik is going to put way more pressure on BHop than Joe did. Why in the world would his head games bother Pavlik? Too busy for BHop and hits harder than Joe C. Hopkins is too old to fight Pavlik.

Something like this wouldn't surprise me. Mayweather's a cocky and arrogant ****. He'll step into someone's face if his entourage is there. It's possible he did get cold cocked. He isn't superman. Guys get sucker punched all the time for talking smack.

I doubt it happend, but if it did, I'm sure Floyd was sucker punched, because if they squared up, that Cherry would be eating out of a straw for the rest of his life.

Remember that great story when young Cassius Clay was giving Liston so much flack at a Las Vegas casino, and Liston came over and started slapping Clay around and Clay said "Sonny, what are you doing?"

Supposedly, that is when Sonny lost the "real fight" because he thought
Clay would whimp out when the going got tough in the title match.
