After seeing this fight is made I have two questions. 1-(if kelly wins) Does this all but lock up a match with Calzaghe? 2- Will Kelly ever fight at 160lbs again?
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk yes go bhop this is a good fight Pavlik is gonna want to be the first to knock Hopkins out, and Hopkins is gonna wanna prove that he's still got it.
You said it. Hopkins will outfox Pavlik, who barely lands a punch all fight and comes out on the wrong end of a lopsided decision.
Good matchup. Hopkins is still a good fighter with tons of experience but can't fight at a good pace for 12 rounds and Pavlik tries to force a fast tempo. If Pavlik is impressive against Hopkins, it would do wonders for his career.
If Pavlik wins convincingly? NO! Kelly goes to 160 for AA. Provided AA's next opponent doesn't find a way to out point AA in Germany. Pretty sure he won't knock AA out, but, can he 'veteran' him the way he did Lorenzo?:huh
QUESTION: Does a 26 year old somewhere near his prime get credit for fighting a past it 43/44 year old has been who's coming off a loss and has been defeated twice by a fighter the 26 year old has beaten twice?
At least it then can be said, that he beat the man, who was beaten by the man; only maybe even more impressivley. That is, if he can really do it. Hopkins age might finally really start to kick in, on the other hand, I feel Pavlik should not add too much weight.
I have no interest in paying to watch Bernard Ruiz hold and clinch all night. Not going to waste my money on this.
