To be honest, the only fighters PBF "cherrypicked" are JMM & Baldomir. Judah was signed before he lost, Dela hoya was nearly favoured to beat him and Hatton was suppose to be tough due to styles, ie a bigger Castillo. The only thing that diminished the Hatton win was the fact that it was well known Hatton dropped down from 147 to 140 because he explained his bad performances at 147 being due to the extra weight...yet a supposudley not a true WW Floyd drags him up there again.

No way is fighting Pac cherrypicking. His fighting the best, the toughest fight out there including SSM and PW...

Pac didn't fight Mosley or Margarito, I guess he ducked them too, right? Floyd came back with a simple tune-up - simple despite it being the P4P #2 and putting on a masterclass - and then signed the Pac fight. So at what point exactly could he have fought either since coming back?

He was retired when Margarito did a job on Cotto, and then disgraced himself with the hand wraps issue and promptly got knocked the **** out. Why would Floyd fight him? If he wins Margo is just another Baldomir, which is what in relatively he was exposed to be.

Mosley was terrible against Mayorga and then only came-back into the real big time with that win against Margarito in January. Floyd took a 'tune-up' to find his feet & way back into the sport, which is perfectly acceptable. Now what point after that could he have fought Mosley?

Do you suggest he fights Mosley in between his September (Marquez) and March (Pacquiao) fights somehow? Or would you prefer that he didn't fight your favourite fighter in the biggest fight for years and fight Mosley instead? What other opportunity did he have to fight him? Mosley turned down Mayweather twice before, and now is trying to talk his way into one last big pay-day when Floyd & Manny both have bigger fish to fry in fighting each other.

He ducked Mosley and Margarito by offering them both fights? (Mosley twice in 2000 and 2006 and Margarito in place of Judah when Judah lost)

He'll win easily but I woulnd't call it a cherry pick. It's THE fight to be made right now and if he didn't take it, people would say he avoided pac.

It's equally ridiculous to say that Pac cherry picked Morales, Barrera, Marquez and Hatton. They were the guys to beat in their respective divisions at the time and had he fought anyone else he'd be accused of avoiding these guys

The fight was talked about before Mosley's step up to fight Delahoya, Mosley took the bigger money fight, Mayweather was trying to get any big fight back then to make his name and was talking about going up to WW to fight when he was at 130/135, and when he was at 130 was chasing a catchweight fight with Hamed. He went up in weight to make big fights, not because hes a big fighter, hes small and could have stayed at 130-135 for allot longer

No this is the first real fight he takes at WW so power to him. Hatton and Marquez fights doesn't add too much to your legacy if you want to be the best ever. Oscar was O.K. fight.
