    Dawson isn't as big a draw outside America as Kessler was. The Calzaghe-Kessler fight was seen as an even fight at the time. Calzaghe-Dawson wouldn't be - Calzaghe would be favourite.

    Veit got his rematch because had won the interim WBO SMW belt when Calzaghe was injured. Calzaghe had to fight him to stay on course for his record no of defenses (which seemed to be his main target at the time). He had to fight him.

    Oh...but he sure looked ultra hungry vs Joe didnt he? Fact is, he hasnt looked good since before the first Tarver fight. He did not look good vs Tarver, vs Johnson, vs the two journeymen he fought OR vs the ridiculously blown up Tito Trinidad. He hasnt been hungry, nor a top fighter for YEARS!
