I'm not sure how I would rate it, although it is quite good. But it is interesting the punches he got stunned by were direct shots without him being able to roll with the punch. Not quite fresh on my memory so correct me if I'm wrong but... Corley tagged him with a shot as Floyd was trying to throw and it was a shot that he just didn't see. Good timing on Corley's part. Judah hit him with a clean shot behind the Jabs that seemed to blind and/or distract Floyd. Those shots Floyd took from Shane were a bit concerning. The replay showed it like he didn't see that punch at all, distracted by the body-shot, and it just crushed through his jaw. And then the second punch which had him do a swirl, hit him again with a punch he didn't see, right on the temple. I agree with those that said conditioning plays a big part of it. That's been said by fighters and trainers with how it does make a difference. Floyd's ability to stay calm though is rare. He smiles after a big shot, which tends to get put in with the reaction of being hurt, which can be...but he actually looks like a person who gets excited about having to overcome adversity during a fight. Each time it happened, Corley, Judah, Mosley...same thing.
Mayweather's chin is an enigma. But lets not say that punch he got hit with from Mosley would have KO'd anyone or dropped them. Marg took Mosley's best shots for 9 rounds, he has 0 defense.
Floyd has a very thick neck for a short 5'8 kid. It's as big as some of the necks in the super middle division. marg also rolled his head away from Mosley's punches each time. Watch it on slow mo replay. Guys like marg don't have the skills to avoid getting hit, so they're very keen on rolling away as it's their only line of defense.
"Perfect punch" "Everyone knows that the punch blah blah". "Everyone gets KO'd by that punch". It doesn't work like that. Marg's chin is much better period. It's not like he saw every single punch coming and like if Mayweather took those punches Marg took he would take em all if he saw em. Mayweather is the better fighter but his chin is not proven granite, nor is it better than Margarito's. You can't have everything your way.
Marg got hit with tons of totally flush punches that night. So it doesn't matter if he rolled with a few of them.
No one said Floyd has a better chin than margarito. He even said Floyd's chin isnt iron. He didn't say "Everyone gets KO'd by that punch" either.
He's arguing about why Marg took as many punches as he did compared to Mayweather. The reason is, because he takes punches better period. Marg took enough punches in that fight to prove it. Marg also wouldn't be hurt by a guy like Corley. He is comparing them. And the "everyone gets KO'd by that punch" line is just another generic, repetitive line people like to throw along with "perfect punch" and things like that. That is why I mentioned it.
You're a fool. I never said anyone would get KO'd by the punch Floyd took. Learn how to tell the difference between Leon and Scar. Are you trying to say the punches you don't see coming don't hurt you the most? It doesn't work like that. What are you talking about? Mayweather's style is to do his best to avoid the punches he sees coming. He doesn't need to prove things by taking unnecessary punishment; it's not apart of his mentality. Rolling away from punches reduces their impact. That's why I mentioned marg. He actually rolled away unlike Floyd. I used perfect to say Mosley caught him with a very good punch. Are you going to try to argue that a punch that hurt a defensive wizard the most he's even been hurt wasn't "perfect"?
Overanalysing. Margarito took every kind of shot in the fight with Mosley. Some he saw, some he didn't see, some perfectly flush, etc, etc. He never got that hurt until taking a ridiculous amount of them. Every punch that hurts Mayweather must be a perfect punch with extreme power :nut. Thing is, if you see that punch land on Marg and Marg shakes it off, even if he didn't see it, you probably won't say "perfect punch blah blah". Marg's chin is just better, no use comparing them. No one is saying he has a bad chin. I'm convinced Marg took punches with pretty much the same power. I'm gonna stop here because soon I'll be arguing about how Hearns hits harder than PBF and you tring to tell me otherwise. :good
Yes, because Mosley isn't the hardest hitter at 147. You fail at being funny. Boom. Right there in my first post. Floyd's chin hasn't been tested enough to know if it's iron or not.
Margarito was hurt by a body shot first off, and the head shots came later jughead. Second, just because Margs takes more shots than Floyd does NOT mean he takes a better shot. Their styles dictate how much they get hit dumbass. You are so phony at times with your fake ass analysis it's a shame lol...
Rockgloves was knocked out by Mosley. Floyd took Mosley's best shot and then boxed his ears off for ten rounds straight.
