Mayweather has a damn good chin. Like someone mentioned, he has excellent condition. When you train like that and get yourself in great condition, you'll be able to take a punch. Yeah, Mayweather has excellent defense, but let's not act like he's never been hit hard. Shane hit him with two wicked punches in one round and he still never touched the canvas. The guy has had over 40 fights in 5 different divisions and yet no one has ever gotten a solid knockdown on him. His eyes, defesne, and wonderful condition, allow him to absorb big punches.

Nonsense. You clearly haven't seen enough of his fights and insist on being ignorant and foolish. You say you finally watched the DLH fight, did you see the flush hook DLH landed on him early?, it nearly moved him off his feet yet he still wasn't knocked down, yes he was forced to be defensive but was still countering and backing DLH off. DLH also had him a solid shot in the 5th yet Mayweather backed off and stun DLH real good that it nearly looked like DLH was about to go down from it. Corrales landed flush shots on him, Chavez, Hernandez, Castillo, Judah, Mosley, Corley and many others. If his chin isn't good enough he would have at least been down once or "panicked" his way down. Do you even know what REAL panic means after a solid shot?, watch Wladimir Klitschko's early fights, or round 3 against Brewster in the first fight or MANY others, that's what panic REALLY looks like in a boxing ring if you don't know what it is yet because you obviously don't.

RJJ was knocked down by a single shot from Del Valle and it looked like it really stun him. RJJ has also taken shots from Ruiz which did stun him but still he was up and going. Everyone knows that RJJ's conditioning is what messed him up totally after moving down from heavyweight and having to literally starve for it. If you don't know what a gym looks like then they will tell you what playing with weight can do to different bodies. Mayweather was caught with similar punches that RJJ took from Del Valle without expecting them yet wasn't down and not even close. Your assessment is pure failure, have you honestly seen enough of Mayweather's fights or only DLH and Mosley?, Youtube is your friend.

he almost got KTFO with 2 shots from mosley. Margarito ate about a hundred of those till he fell down. Cotto took alot more than those and didn't get KO'd. Floyd's chin is average. pac would have shattered it and floyd was smart enough to know it.

Margo has an iron chin. Mayweather's is decent, if Mosley had a little more gas could have stopped him.

Cotto?, seriously?. The man wobbles from single shots and was in trouble in the 10th from a single shot till the referee called time to save his ass. If he almost got KO'd then he wouldn't have recovered quickly and was actually throwing back. Margarito relies on taking shots, that's what he does, if that ability, which is A class, goes then he goes as well. Mayweather isn't expected to take shots and doesn't rely on taking shots either.

Baldomir may have had an even better one. His head barely moves even when hit flush and it's not like he has power to keep people off of him. Mosley's own chin is nearly as good which allowed him to take risks and tee off on Margo with haymakers all night.

Floyd's chin is maybe slightly above average but his conditioning and willpower is easily as good as Margarito's despite their drastically different styles.

The one thing I have to give Mayweather credit for is his ability to survive and then immediately comeback strong without fighting scared. When the guy commits to a fight he's completely mentally prepared for all scenarios but the trick is actually getting him into the ring

Point is cotto's defence isnt as good as mayweathers so he takes more punishment. I see your still trying to convince people that cotto was hurt in that 10th round where the referee called break to clean a wet spot in the ring.

I wonder what's left of margariTOE's chin after suffering that sustained beating from Mosley. It is up to recruit DAPIDRAN to uncover what's left of that chin.

No trick required, he already made it there 41 times. If it's a trick to get him there then he wouldn't have been P4P#1. As far as I remember DLH's demands were more money, small ring, small gloves(to make sure he breaks his hand when he lands), location, weight and whatever else I'm missing. It didn't take Mayweather more than a day to sign without giving a damn about the demands.

Sometimes I wonder if you people are just ******ed or on 1kb connections. At least watch it again before posting.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAytkiq5_RU[/ame]

Watch when and WHERE the punch lands and tell me with a straight face, if you even have a face, that a punch landed in the sky and Cotto looked stunned from the air and water on the canvas. Again I repeat, WATCH WHERE IT LANDS and where the spot they wiped off is. Another thing, that punch is NOTHING and not even CLOSE compared to what Mosley landed on Mayweather in the 2nd round.

I don't like Roach's tactics of picking fighters that have recently been KOed badly to fight whereas before he wouldn't have touched them even with ridiculous catchweights. Roach wouldn't fight Mosley even with a 144 or 143 catchweight because he wasn't KOed recently.

I hope Margo shows up with something to prove and shocks the world once again. It's interesting to note that every time Margo came into a fight as a big favorite he managed to find a way to lose it(Williams, Mosley) and every time he was a big underdog like against Martinez, Cintron 1, and Cotto he ended up destroying his opponent.

Not as clean as the shot he caught Floyd with. Cotto was able to see and roll with it. He wasn't countered like Floyd was.

It doesn't really matter to me who wins or loses marg/emmanuel, but I marg style is tailor made for dapidran.
