The two highest grossing live gates in boxing history happened in that very building, and both of them just so happened to be Mayweather fights, so why would he fight anywhere else?
Pretty sure the reason is taxation. If it had been at Barclays.. Floyd would have had to pay out millions extra in taxes to NY State and NYC. I think they should have done it at Barclays just for a change of pace, and generate more news in media capital of the world... but its not my purse getting taxed and I wasnt planning to see it live anyhow so /shrug
does anyone know if the tickets comes with free hotel room, free buffet and a limo ride to and from the airport?
