It is beyond me how any boxing fan could get hyped for this fight. It was clear Mayweather is another league compared to Hatton. Does Hatton take a fight he knows he will lose? I think he believed in his chances in the first fight, but he got totally outclassed.
Floyd coming out of retirement to fight a guy he left laying in a heap is a weak move. There were several fights people were clamoring to see Floyd involved in when 2008 ended, and Mayweather vs Hatton was not one of them.
This is the only fight I think that can totally **** up '09 for me. Who the hell wants to see this garbage????
I wonder about the weight issue. Does he expect Floyd to come in at the WW limit? He fought Floyd for the WBC belt the last time. Hatton weighed in at 145 for that fight but in the end I think Floyd shouldn't have to make 140 and can weigh in at whatever he wants.
Hatton has always said he would fight Mayweather again because he felt Cortez ****ed him over last time.
Ricky should just text Floyd. "wats happenin kuz u ayt, Pac is a *******, you wanna come back n hav a rematch xx"
Man I really don't wanna see this fight yet..I wanted to see Floyd fight the pac-hatton rematch..pac messed that up
Mayweather won't fight Hatton on Hattons terms and neither should he. The only chance Hatton has is at 140, in England. He'll probably want a 45/55 cut too. Mayweather, quite rightly will laugh down the phone and tell Hattons team where to stick the offer. Mayweather ain't budging from 147. He ain't fighting outside of America and he'll want it at least 65/35. If Hatton fights him on those terms it's crazy, he'll get his ass kicked again.
