hatton must be bitter with pac, and there's no better way to **** him off than get a rematch with mayweather. i don't think it will happen though. although i would prefer a rematch with pbf in the uk than a fight with oscar
It would be a good fight if they get it on again ... I personally enjoyed the whole fight ... the first round Hatton almost knocks PBF down ... he frustrated my guy for 4 or so round ... then PBF takes over like you know he does. Hatton got flustered himself and came out recklessly and got caught with some **** ... adjustments can be made and seeing Hatton fight against Malignaggi, it seems like Mayweather Sr has made improvements in Hattons fight game. In the end team Hatton created the idea that the ref played a major part of the outcome ... the new trainer ... the drama ... bother against brother ... father against son ... rivals against each other ... Its many people that still believe that PBF ducked Hatton at 140.
yeah i still don't think hatton wins but it would be closer i think, and you never know in boxing anything can happen. i would watch it.
It could go to the decision ... there's alot of anticipated drama from Hatton fans -- PBF doesn't care about getting the KO ... he's more concerned about winning the fight ... Having it in the UK would even the odds a bit ... and it would be the first time PBF went across the pond to fight anyone -- it could open up a huge market for US T.V
Also, fighting at 140 would make the fans favor Hatton even more. I think if this fight came off, it would convince CalZ to fight Hopkins again.
if Floyd rematches Ricky Hatton, that means Floyd fans can not ***** about the Margarito Cotto rematch:deal There is nothing from the first Hatton Mayweather fight that would warrant a rematch, you cant say the same about Margarito vs Cotto, them two simply went to war and Cotto deserves and has rightfully earned a rematch.
I enjoy watching Mayweather fight but a Hatton-Mayweather II is crap. The result is going to be same with Mayweather getting the W over someone he already beat convincingly and then "retiring" for another 6-12 months. Mayweather should fight Pacman now that Hatton-Pacquiao is off or the winner of Margo-Cotto II
p4pdabest it doesn't have to be at 140 ... it could be at a catchweight ... Hatton thinks he's more effective at 140 ... but just to even the odds ... make the fight at 143 or 145 ... have it in the UK ... have neutral judges ... and a neutral ref ... they stand to make so much money. 70-100k fans ... $350 to 1500 for seats ... PPV both in UK and in USA ... come on now ... Floyd Sr. the trainer of Hatton ... Uncle Roger the trainer of lil Floyd ... Again ... Father against Son ... Brother against Brother ... Rival clash the second time around ... Hatton defending his only loss ... hometown advantage for Hatton ... come on now ... throw a star studed undercard and we got an event. Berto defending his title Valero HBO debut
I agree. PBF is fighting a guy 2" smaller than him, but that guy outweighs him. Margo is fighting a guy 4" smaller than him, but they weigh about the same. Both Hatton & Cotto are coming to win. If you're gonna complain about 1 fight, you gotta complain about the other.
I doubt if Berto will ever do an undeercard again. They should put Valero & one more good fight on the undercard, and you'll be all good.
Aint nobody talking about how tall a mother ****er is get them balls out of your mouth, I am saying Floyd Dominated and owned Ricky Hatton and stopped him there is nothing different about this fight, it will be the same ****, Cotto fought his ass off and rightfully deserves a rematch way before Hatton does with Floyd. Look this fight isnt about Son against father, this fight isnt brother against brother, or some biased vegas refs etc.... This fight is a low risk huge reward payday for Floyd who seemingly is un sure about himself stacked against the rest of the top welters today.
I'm cancelling all the reasons to talk about PBF fighting Hatton by talking about size stupid. I know fans are gonna say "PBF is fighting smaller men now" and all that, thats why I state those facts! Cotto & Hatton both came to win and fought their hearts out.
