First off, Floyd didn't hit Ricky with an elbow. He used the forearm to create space for himself so Ricky couldn't use his head and wrestling tactics to take his opponents out of position. If Ricky took an elbow, it was because he was diving into it. Both tactics are illegal though, so if you're going to let Ricky do it, ya gotta let Floyd also do it.

Unless you expected Cortez to allow Ricky to use illegal tactics but not Floyd?

Exactly !! Hatton just read too many clipping and listen to many floyd credit, that he was the stronger fighter of the two .. Only to admit after the fight that floyd is allot stronger then he is at 147.. you can tell in the fight Hatton and his corner had no plan B ,, they put all there egg in one basket

I kept asking myself when watching that fight why would a fighter (ricky) , continuously come forward and eat punches and not try to make any type of adjustment. :think

There wasn't gonna be no plan B. If they tried to adjust, floyd would have went Gatti on him. His best bet was to try wrestling and disrupting on the inside, but Floyd has better inside fighting skills and knows how to create seperation with the forearm. If Hatton's gonna smother for the sake of smothering, then Floyd should be able to create seperation to turn it back into a boxing match where the object of the game is to land punches.

LOL....you want to see bias justs look at the KT vs Hatton fight. That is biased.

Joe merley didn't allow rough house tatics on the inside and Hatton was trying very hard to rough house Floyd on the inside.

Ultimately the better man won easily.

Nah...those elbows didn't do ****...it was more of the forearm use that Floyd used that made Hatton mad. But Hatton always wants to hold and smother....Floyd used his forearm to get distance.

But if you really think about it....elbows are DEADLY. They can cut you up with out much force....IF floyd really was elbowing Hatton you would have seen Hatton all bloodie up and cut up. Hatton was just sour and hurt which is understanable...but no need to sound like a whinny little *****. He's got enough bitchass fans to do that for him...and Im not calling all Hatton fans Bitches...just the ones that act like Bitches...I like Hatton but I'm no cry baby.

Exactly, the whole Hatton team underestimated PBF.

They thought that 15 rounds on the body bag is all Hatton needed to do in order to beat PBF. PBF moves a bit better than the bodybag and punches back too:lol:

Hatton couldnt land **** on PBF while PBF was landing the flush shots. They also assumed Hatton could go and manhandle PBF when it was little Rickey who was getting all tuckered out in the late rounds.

PBF spars 15 rounds and stays in the 150's year round. If he had to make 147 five days from now, he could do it. Rick, today is probably what, 170 something.

They underestimated PBF's strength and stamina. Just because he doesnt normally have a high punch output doesnt mean he dont have stamina. Ive never seen him tired, while Hatton has tired in other fights as well.

Wow... I am speechless. I know Hatton got ko'd but the only one who was dirty here was Floyd. And Cortez constantly warning and talking to Hatton!!

I think Floyd would of one anyway and the biggest mother ****er in this fight here is Cortez.
