Don't get it twisted. Cotto is the most dangerous opponent for Floyd since DLH.

I think Ortiz was dangerous as well, due to his size and youth, but he was too inexperienced.

Cotto is more or less the complete package. Floyd has his hands full.

If Floyd manages to make Cotto look like he has nothing, Floyd deserves a lot of credit.

The IPAD stuff to me was the most telling part of the entire deal, Floyd didn't care about the OSU game or the 100k. He was trying to subtly disrespect Cotto and see if he could get him rattled, and more importantly guage how Cotto would react. Cotto didn't give a ****, and even talked with him about it etc. Cotto mentally is in a really good place right now and I think he has as good a chance as anyone has had against Floyd in a long time. The way Cotto handled everything, showed a lot of security and confidence, I think Floyd saw that too and why he was overly respectful. I think he took the high road and backed off, until he could figure another way to try and get a mental edge, but I don't think he'll be able to against Cotto. Which may actually get in Floyd's head...we'll see I guess. Props to Cotto he won the "event" here, IMO.

 

This was taped after the first presser, almost a month ago. The way Floyd has been training, I don't see Cotto coming out of this fight looking too good.
