so floyd fought entertaining in my eyes vs ortiz, even so the end was bs. but at least floyd came to fight throwing combos, moving well, simply being more activ than usual. cotto is similar to ortiz, just has better fundamentals and remember this is @154 and cotto weight exactly @154 while floyd weight @151, so cotto gonne be the bigger, stronger man and if giant margarito got an bluffed face by cotto, means cotto can hurt floyd, if he touches him so, will fight feel cottos power and start running and only one punch at a time, to win an boring classic floyd UD. or will it be like ortiz-money, a solid fight, without the bs end?
I see it going the way of the Delahoya fight ..The only reason he came at Ortiz was because he knew Ortiz isn't as seasoned as he was thats why he took more chances ..I doubt he will be that brave against Cotto even at this stage ..
Unpredictable IMO, It depends on who establishes their respect inside the ring first. Both fighters have the skills to make this either a barn burner or an "Akinwande" (Akinwande = a boring ass fight) My hope is both fighters are at the perfect time in their career to make this fight interesting. (both have slowed Just enough to make this a fight)
Anytime Floyd puts on a masterful display of technical skills its never boring. Cotto seems game, and hopefully his conditioning holds up, so therefore it seems like it should be a good one.
Floyd/Cotto are not boring fighters, but if you were able to sit through Hopkins/Dawson, you can sit through anything.
It will get interesting. I think Floyd will be surprised by cotto's timing and accuracy.. And cotto will be surprised by floyd's defense, infighting ability and strength. Floyd is taking it to cotto and left hooks and uppercuts will catch cotto clean. Getting inside is the dangerous part for floyd. Cotto has horrible defense in close but he can hang with Floyd midrange. See the Shane, PAC or margacheato fight. They all walked cotto down to be effective. Running from cotto is not an option see the zab and quintana fight. He will get to your body as you try to roll away on the ropes.
Usually when a guy is so dominant it can get a bit boring but i do enjoy a masterclass performance and Floyd generally gives that. Im not holding up much hope for Cotto i think hes guna be outclassed comftably from range while he tries to walk Floyd down, but alot of people are giving him a big chance, especially with it being at the weight it is so im guna be interested in seein that pan out.
A big fight like this is difficult to be boring for me, even Haye vs Klitschko although it has no replay value had me on my feet the whole fight.
