Mayweather-Cotto : How's This Playing Out...???

i still don't how anyone can assume cotto would out-box floyd....obsurd

 

Cotto is an underrated boxer (by some), but it's laughable that he could use the ring to get away from Floyd if Floyd really had it in his head to keep on him and harass him with pot-shots. Yeah...Floyd can't match Cotto's foot speed. OK.

I hope that Floyd does not fight any one of note, then retires.

Then he will suffer greatly in the ATG and P4P rankings, cause of his poor resume (aposed to where he could of been) , the worse thing that could happen is that he fights , Cotto etc .... who are on the way out and gets full credit, cause he would have beeten them in their prime any way.

Before Margo Cotto to some of you had the skills to beat Floyd.....Cotto loses to Margo and Pac so now he has lost the skill?

Cotto at no point in his career could beat Floyd...Cotto is easily suckered into traps.

Slow when closing, foot speed and movement is average

and his defense is terrible.

Floyd would blister him with potshots, outsmart him, and frustrate Cotto all night ontop of that he doesnt have the stamina to constantly stalk Floyd while receiving shots and trying to get his own off.

Cotto is a good fighter, but there's no version of him, then and now that would of beat Mayweather.

 

Floyd makes Cotto look awful, and beats him very one sidedly. I think this fight looks much like Floyd v Hatton.
I cant understand all the Pac, Cotto, Margo Williams or whoever now beat Floyd, just because people dont like how he is acting.
I dont like it either, but doesnt change how good a fighter he is.
He beats all of the above, easily!

You don't have to hope. He MAYNEVER fight again. He already solved his IRS problem when people paid for the JMM fight and ensured his future with the mosley fight.

He is 34 turning 35.Not exactly young anymore and with so much inactivity (plus surrounded with enablers like Karceno(voyeur), 50 cents and previous retirement plus the fact that he is actually a little thin when it comes to gray mater), I doubt he has the heart and desire to continue. IRS made him unretire, Idiots made him retire again. Seems like a good bargain.

Boxers who come out of retiremnt tend to fight for one thing only - money. SRL, Holmes, etc. They usually fight a few times max then go back to retirement again. This does not bode well with the *****s.

Cotto head hunts and gets overly agressive then fustration sets in and fights Mayweather fight and gets pot shotd to a mayweather victor.

he did get an extra 5 million of the buys. He made a killin off the shane fight but you cant call us idiots because remember the ENTIRE world thought he was scared of mosley. I just figure he didnt want to fight him because he was trynna negotiate with Pac and when that fell through Mosley got his fight hooked.
