This regaurds the rummer that Cotto is going to face Alfonso Gomez and Mayweather is facing Oscar De La Hoya again in April. Cotto has in the past fought in New York around the time of the city's Puerto Rician day prade. It is possibale he could be fighting two months latter but I realy doubt Mayweather who seems to take long breaks between fights would fight two months after a fight. This makes a June 2008 Mayweather Cotto match up very unlikly. However it could set up a June 2009 match up between the 2 boxers. I can also see both boxers having fights between April 08 and June 09.
If Mayweather fights DLH in May, Cotto fights gomez, then the winner of the headline of the card for a big build up. I could def see that, and thats what will prob happen, something to that extent that is.
If FMJ fought Williams and Cotto and dethroned both, he would solidify his claim as THE MAN @147. There would be no question on his status. DLH - PBF 2.........all for $$$, no legacy

hopefully alfonso gomez is a big enough name for cotto if he wants 2 match up with PBF later, and if not,cotto is a champion that will clear out the division then he will be 100% UNDENIABLE 2 mr. mayweather jr.
