I don't think its relevant, even if Mayweather lost, another fight with Oscar would/could happen. Its all about the money, Judah lost but his fight with Mayweather still happened, if it makes money it'll happen. If Floyd lost that wouldn't rule out a rematch with Oscar because it would have still made a tonne of money. But hey, he won and thats that. I for one would welcome a rematch if it does ever materialize!
There could be loads of slightly suspect things about the fight. * Choice of ref * Cortez being paid off to protect Floyd * Oscar purposely giving bad advice to Ricky * Ring size (huge to allow Floyd more room to avoid Ricky) * Choice of gloves * I could go on... But we will never know all the nitty gritty details, what's true, what's not... so it's all pointless. Whatever anyone says, we're gonna get the Floyd fans saying "Blah, that white fat kid got his ass handed to him / you Brits are just sore losers / America is number 1" (complete with annnoying smilies), and of course we'll get those who think the fight was totally shady and heavily biased in Floyd's favour in every way possible. We may as well just move on because no clear conclusion will ever be reached.
lol ok...floyd wont fight till late 2008 unless its oscar...floyd ud both of em 2 by the way "u heard it here first"
exactly. and DLH will think that he will beat Cotto. Floyd will not fight Cotto just yet that's for sure. and lets not turn this into a hatton-mayweather thread complaining about Hatton's loss, the question is, if there was any shadiness about the fight, was it in DLH's favour for a fight with PBF?
people smile for all sorts of reasons, he may have simply enjoyed seeing floyd manhandled through the ropes with ricky throwing a wild and illegal shot at the back of his head. This thread is pointless and you people are reading WAY to much into this. If you actually watch the fight and not just screencaps you can clearly see Oscar and Bernard yelling the whole fight, so what? suddenly it's some big grand scheme consipiracy? Hatton got KO'd and would have lost regardless on the cards and not b/c of biased judges, but b/c fights are scored by ROUNDS and Hatton won at most 2-3 rounds. He was simply outclassed, accept it.
but you are a devil's advocate and more than likely dont even know it so your points here are also mute.:verysad
That picture is pointless, it could be A) a grimace and not a smile, like when something is bull**** and you smile out of anger because you can see the bull****, and most likely in my opinion B) he was smiling like the rest of us at watching a loudmouth boxer being practically pushed out of the ring. I say B is the most likely since this is all happening seconds off the event. When Hatton gestured that Mayweather turned his back to us in the bar (as the sound was lower than the yells of fans) it looked like Hatton was gesturing for Mayweather to kiss his ass. That is what we saw in the bar and everyone went wild. Only when I rewatched the fight was I aware of what was really happening. I'm just saying his smile don't mean ****.
Wasnt just one smile but I dont know why I argue since most here at ESB never see any troubeling corruption anyway and believe that if there ever was any then the golden boy would be the last to be a part of itatsch
