Floyd should do better US PPV numbers.....he is a US born fighter. Pac should never do more units than Floyd, yet he does sometimes.

Floyds stock is rising based on a great fight with Cotto however......people are very surprised that Cotto made the fight close when everyone expected a "pac-like" domination.

If Pac dominates Tim.....they'll be saying Pac is right there at the top of the P4P ranks again where Floyd just recently reclaimed the spot.

Pac said and still says he would take the lesser amount on the PURSE....not the PPV buys. If Floyd don't come off that then everyone's going to continue to blame him for ducking Manny.....Floyd might be content with that now......but it will hurt his legacy.:smoke

You can tell just by reading through the comments who really want the fight to happen. Every *****s on this board is looking for a way out. They don't want the fight to happen coz their hero will get whooped LOL.

Official Numbers for Non Heavy-weight PPV fights :

    1. Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather - 2,400,000
    2. Floyd Maweather vs. Miguel Cotto - 1,500,000
    3. Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley - 1,400,000

Pac never does official numbers like that

    Only numbers from Bobs mouth

Ok....who are we quoting on "1.5 million buys" for Floyd vs Cotto? Dick Schaffer? He's the equivalent of the BobFather.

    Man just stop,

You are quoting HBO SPORTS itself they were the one who gave the announcement not schaffer, you see how it really works.

that the May 5 pay-per-view headlined by Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto did 1.5 million buys, a very strong showing indeed
