Pacquiao-Marquez is right in there, it made more than the Mayweather-Ortiz fight, about the same as the Mayweather-Mosley fight. DLH-Pacquiao you'd think would be there too, didn't that have an $14M gate?

 

But...Mayweather will not fight Pacquiao.

 

reported 30million, Wait till Forbes comes out this year and they'll give us an idea if it was right. His reported purses for the DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito fights were all backed up by Forbes numbers for those years. This year they'll be reporting his earnings for the Mosley, Marquez fights.

 

Isn't this always the case, after every Pac, or Floyd fight?

PPV is tracking at a record pace! Expected to break records! Numbers come in a few weeks later. . .


I think this fight will end up doing 1.5, maybe 1.6 million. . .

 

here is the thing if Pac vs Marquez really did 1.4 mil which I doubt else why would Arum not release the numbers, then I can see Floyd vs Cotto with Alverez on the undercard doing much better numbers than 1.4

Canelo was simply a bonus. Mayweather was the draw.

Aren't you the one who said that personal revenue has nothing to do with what the fans want to see?

Mayweather got a guarantee of $32 million last night and Canelo got paid $1.2 million dollars. Enlighten us why Mayweather is the cherry on top and Canelo was the real draw.

That number came from that guy who lists UFC PPV numbers late last year, not Arum. Same with the 1.1M for the Mosley fight. This guy here reports 1.45 for Marquez, 1.34 for Mosley http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...boxing-pay-per-view-events-of-all-time/page/8 Wonder where he got those from?

Anyway, I also included the 1.25M for Mayweather-Ortiz, which I believe were only "officially" released by GBP and Mayweather promotions.
