I was just thinking to myself .... Its a possibilty that Mayweather is fighting Berto next according to Khan.

We are all sick of Khan/Brook/Thurman/Bradley or Pacquaio all avoiding each other for fear of losing a potential fight with Floyd.

What if Floyd announced that he would take on the winner of them all in a round robin effect.

ie winner of Khan - Bradley/Pacquaio fights the winner of Brook - Thurman and overall winner gets Maywether. I think its the only way to get them all in the ring together. Fans are happy at that, also means that he fights the best out that bunch in his final fight.

If this didnt happen and Pac & Mayweather retired it would at least be good to do a super 6 thing with the top Welters.

    what you guys think?

it would be very difficult to do the super 6 thing, would be awesome (regardless of what happens with Mayweather) I really think Mayweather has the influence to get them all to face each other if he publicly said he would fight the winner of them all .... could be a bit too much of a risk for mayweather in his last fight however

it would draw up even more interest in his final fight for PPV figures so would be for his own benefit.

Its a win/win scenario for Floyd massively promotes his last fight and also gets some of the fans back on his side for forcing these fights to get made. He doesnt need the hate from the fans in his last fight that he has being advocating the last 4/5 years anymore.

Good idea delboy. He should name the two best WWs out there and get them to fight it out to face him. Brook/Khan v Thurman/Bradley. Make it the best of UK v US. Floyd doesn't have much time left so one fight to decide it.

A Khan v Brook fight will always be on the table and make for a great domestic dust up.

this would also be excellent yeah if we couldnt get the super 6 then this alternative would be the next big thing. Khan v Brook is already a very very big fight .. add in the pot tha the winner v this get the winner of the other fight then Mayweather would guarantee Wembley sold out and massive number on PPV would prob alo sell PPV in america after tying it in with the Thruman bradley fight or do it a massive joint PPV (dunno if that would work tho)

Good idea in theory the timescale though doesn't make it viable.

MM will not be looking to fight anyone that could be a threat to his unbeaten record if Berto is his next fight as a complete mismatch.

yeah this is also true and would be the main reason that this doesnt happen however i think he beats all the others still. Not easy fights and certainly not guarantee's and as you said would be the biggest stumbling block i think.

However we all thgouth that there would be no way that he would risk everything against Pacman regardless how it turned out in the end. I think most of us thought that fight wouldnt go ahead .

A super 6 would take about 2 years. Mayweather will be gone by then. Mayweather can fight who he wants in September. He can then retire like he said. After that a tournament between the top 8 welterweights would be good.

Double header night would be good, Brook Khan in a fight in the UK, then Thurman Bradley later in the USA. Winner stays on, winner of that gets Floyd. I like your thinking - in reality though it would be hard to arrange and take ages even just with a super 4.
