Ali, Frazier, and Foreman were all gold medalists and all fought each other.

It's kind of sad to see him disrespecting them like that. I wonder if he honestly believes what he's saying.

Using Floyd's logic, Ricardo Lopez is a better boxer than him. He won't be the best until he at least beats his record. Good luck, Floyd...that's a long way to go.

Well i guess i will give my 2 cents. If i was doing an interview w pbf
i would rip him apart on things that he may say one moment that contradicts what he said at another...And I would ask him why doesnt he call calzaghe the greatest, cause i personally dont feel that you are great because you have a zero and IMHO the fact that his uncle calls SRR the greatest, in Floyds mind he probably does not dispute that.

But with floyd being an active fighter, I dont see how anyone can expect him not to say that he is the greatest. You know, I used to be a recruiter and while i know that there were other recruiters that could sell circles around my ass, I used to carry that attitude and say that I was the hottest and best recruiter in the district.

Knowing in reality that even though I was a net 4 recruiter (great) their was one in my own office who i knew in my mind was probably better than me. But the fact that I carried that attitude that i was the best gave me even more confident and drive to talk to any kid or any parent at any time and KNow that I was going to get them to sign. Its no way that I was gonna say that Im a great recruiter, oh but he is better than me.

Now that I dont recruit anymore, I wont hesitate to speak on the past and talk about what recruiters that I felt were on my level or was better or that I wanted to be like in a way. Dont mean to bore people with my story but i said that because thats how i view what is going on with mayweather. And he is not being so humble because he is trying to sell tix and the humble approach didnt work for him. ALI did the same thing before he even accomplished what he did to become an ATG. So now its not ok for floyd to?

Trust me. He has gotten on my last nerve w these episode of 24/7. But at the end of the day i guess his plan was to make the mosley camp do what they said they werent going to do which was talk **** and they engaged, so PBF succeeded.

Last thing, I really dont judge ATGs because no one in a modern era will ever get the credit of anyone in a passed era that was great. A lot of arguments can be made.

One could say: Well know one can be compared to SRR because of all of the fights he had. And everyone would go at each other holding nothing back.

Someone else could argue: well he had that many fights because the majority were nobodies. In today's time with our quality of fighters, a person wouldnt survive without a risk of some major bodily damage. Todays boxers are more skilled and technical than the ones of ALIs era.

Last example of how a current will never be better than a past. I promise: Ill ask people who is the greatest rapper of all time? Most of the time I hear "tupac" I could then say name 5 tupac songs and they cant do it. So what that tells me is people are just programmed to give answers based off of what they have been raised hearing. And no matter what any other rapper does in the future, in that person's mind he would never be better than tupac.

Dont get so worked up about it and let another person upset you that much.
    Get my drift.

Floyd does make some solid points, though. Its hard to compare one era to another, as you can't see Floyd's opponents fight Ali's.................that is uncertian, and undoable.
But what is doable, and certain, is that Floyd has never been beaten.......has faced many, many good and even great opponents in the process.

If he beats Shane, and then were to fight and beat Pacquiao, I would lean towards him being in the top two or three greatest of all time..........if he's not there, already.

I dont rate rappers. I like tupac but his style is different from biggie, LL JAY and so on. Maybe he is the best at his style and what he likes to talk about. But to me their are to many variables to say who is the best.

Of course he's not. But, if he wants to go around telling everyone that he is, whatever.

    thats fair enough,

It sounded like you were saying he's overated, I don't rate rappers neither don't give a ****, but for me 2pac's bigger than a rapper, he rapped about life and poeple's struggles and just great music, he's the best for me.

anyway enough of me going on, it's all good :good
