What's the point it's a meaningless title that only devalues the title even more. Supreme champions, super champions, silver champions, intercontinental champions, champion emeritus blah, blah, blah.
It's not about Floyd not being worthy of recognition. In fact it's insulting to Mayweather to give him some meaningless made up title. Yes he's supreme champion now but what if next year WBC create the super duper WBC champion, then the Ultra Mega Champion it's a ridiculous state of affairs. You could win a world title but still not be the true champion because there's a super champion and a supreme champion above you in the rankings as well as a possible champion emeritus who could come out of retirement and be raked above you. 10 years from now you could win a alphabet world title yet not even be in the bodies top 10 because there are 10 other better versions of the world title. It's a joke.
