Mayweather deserves a larger slice

    Please, spare me comments on my avatar (take it up with Relentless) and "what's with you Floydette's obsessed with money. Are you Ms Jackson?"

    If you guys want to parade around here calling Mayweather "gayweather", "coward", "void", "vacation", etc, you need to review all of the facts and reach a reasonable conclusion before doing so. For the record, yes, I want to see the fight and no, I don't personally care what the purse split is as long as the fight gets made.

    With that being said, Pacquiao had his chance to make a fight and show the world that he deserves the 50/50 split that he and Arum are insisting on. He chose to fight Margo and, while respectable, came well under Mayweather's PPV numbers with Mosley (13.75 million less revenue generated in Pac/Margo fight compared to PBF/SSM).

    Mayweather has consistently outsold Pacquiao and always has a higher live gate so it must be concluded that Pac needs to accept less than a 50/50 split with Mayweather. If purse split ends up the reason for the fight falling through the 3rd time around, Pac is the ducker.

    If Mayweather fights Martinez, nobody can accuse him of ducking Pacquiao. He needs to pick a fight soon though or he'll become an irrelevance.

    Tell Floyd to call out Pac and demand 60/40 and watch even TSN get involve in calling him a duck.

    Anyway I aint getting any money so I hope its 50/50 for the sake of boxing.

    Because I don't ever want to see this fight happen. I'm not a fan of boxing.

    Even if Mayweather is a bigger draw in America, worldwide, Pacquiao is bigger. It makes sense for 50/50.
