Floyd has nothing to make Golovkin fight off the back foot. He won't be pushing this dude back. What really makes you think Floyd would do that?

When did GGG begin to leave himself open? It was after he knocked the **** out of Stevens and the dude hid behind a shell until he had had enough punishment. When a fighter refuses to engage, you need to give them openings so that you can counter. That's basic.

You guys just don't get it. The style and strengths of GGG are just not the right recipe for Floyd. He may find success in counters off GGG, but in every other aspect Floyd would be covering up and taking a beating to his body, shoulders, and arms. Floyd would be landing 4 or 5 sharp counters, to 20+ punches landed by GGG, causing Floyd to lose rounds.

If Floyd had major pop to keep GGG off of him, it would give him a little more life in the fight. But as it stands, GGG has a solid chin to go with his attributes as well, so that may even be a false positive in this fantasy match up.

Based on a simple visual evaluation (not to mention common sense):deal

Which part are trying to argue? The "bigger" part or the "probably better" part?

    1) This fight with probably never happen. Floyd won't take it and it involves rival networks.
    2) Floyd might outbox and avoid GGG for 12 rounds, but floyd doesn't "destroy" anyone. Much less GGG. If he even trys to trade shots he ends up on his back.

Personally unless GGG is weight drained to the max at 154 which he may well be, I think he is a bit too much for Floyd to chew. Maybe with his prime legs but not anymore.

Golovkin doesn't have a resume anywhere near Castillo's and frankly I don't see any comparisons to be made between the two.

Until he fights someone, Golovkin is ALL hype...

No, until he fights someone who can really test him, his ceiling is entirely speculative. Golovkins fighting ability isn't defined by his fans. Until he loses he's potentially as good as any other unbeaten fighter out there.

Golovkin has got serious skills on top of his power and a huge size advantage
This is not gonna be Canelo moving at him in straight lines.

If Floyd takes this fight it would me amazing display of courage by him, even if Floyd looses he wont loose credibility because Golovkin is just a bigger dude, a very skilled bigger dude.

Floyd has barely any business at 154 as it is, but because he is so good he outboxes dudes some how. He wont do this to a 160 fighter like GGG

Both skilled, comeforward-type fighters with good whiskers, high KO percentage, like to go to the body, minimal head movement and good at cutting off the ring(GGG has the edge in most of those qualities)

Yeah, absolutely nothing to compare them by.

I don't think we've seen enough of GGG to say he could beat Mayweather and add to the fact we haven't seen him at 154, BUT you Mayeather fans crack me up! *Destroys* GGG! lol
Mayweather isn't destroying anybody. Never destroyed Canelo, never destroyed Guerrero, never destroyed a fat JMM. Floyd is like a sweat bee... Fast, annoying, can sting, but more than anything is simply annoying. Like canelo said "I couldn't catch him.. Simple as that."
Canelo was also to young and to green to fight Floyd.. GGG is not. I'd watch it, not sure if I'd pay for it (gotta see more from GGG).

Floyd destroys everyone in fantasy match-ups.

He destroys Ali and Tyson on the same night with one hand tied behind his back.
