Hatton made more in his last fight than Mayweather did, but he's still fighting again. If PBF needs a 9 month rest after every fight, then how can you compare him to some of the greats who were good enough to fight so often?
He didn't land anything?, it's damn clear he landed BOTH of those shots and the second one hurt DLH. Look closely, I remember that even live during the fight.
If you would get your mouth off of PBF's dick for a second, you might have time to realize that he was talking about OSCAR NOT LANDING ANY SHOTS. Damn.... You're such a PBF fanatic that regular fanatics aren't even fanatical enough for you.
Ill add something else, its EASIER laying on the ropes waiting to counter, using the spring, balance, leverage and support that the ropes give you;but Imagine if both fighters wanted to do it? We'd have no fights and no sport. And i dont care if Ali and RJJ did it;I repeat 'what if future fighters want to emulate that? The sport dies.
I don't think Oscar was hurt at all in that sequence. He was coming forward and ran into a clean shot that knocked him off balance. I do think he was hurt from a left hook to the body in the 9th or 10th round, though.
I think floyd is a great champion and fighter. The thing wrong with him is you have to watch four rounds of him not doing anything in order to get those two punches in your gif. Sure, a job done is a job done, and that's the end of it. But I like a little more action in my fighters.
I wouldn't say he was hurt, but he was definitely close to dropping. He never saw it and it hit the point of the chin, he did well to keep his legs really.
OK,I went off on one there, but leaning back on the ropes, having a rest, always ready to counter, move forward and back when necessary, is easier. The other guy has to make the fight with no help. Fighting off the ropes is overrated. I may even start a thread about that.
I dont think he was necessarily HURT in this one! there were a few body shots in the 10th that put him in pain FYI i only gave 3 rounds to DLH!
Nice couple of rights by floyd but if you notice, he also manages to try and sneak in the elbow, pushes with his forearm and starts to hug DLH all this while fighting off the rope. Very effective safety-first style:but boring as hell:deal
:huh The same way it baffles Oscar fans that some people say Floyd dominated, when in fact he struggled and barely beat an inactive part time fighter. Oscar held his own until he faded and abondoned the jab,but clearly to say Floyd dominated and hurt Oscar enroute to an easy victory is ridiculous.
