I wonder how many here called Oscar a ***** for making the fight with Floyd at 154 but manny at 147? Was that not a double standard? Oscar made both those assholes careers only difference was he laid down for manny but he really wanted clip Floyd. Ginger must earn his cash cow slot the same way Floyd did

For someone with so many fights canelo sure has had a field day of fighting smaller guys. All this from a guy who has not even headlined a ppv. His first legit challenge was Trout.

Can canelo really be making such demands? At this stage nope.

In May 2004 Floyd moved up to 140 and fought Corely then Brussels before Gatti. The same month he fought Gatti (June '05), Tszyu fought Hatton.

Floyd moved up to 135 and directly fought the best in Castillo, he must've lost his balls when moving up to 140.

The Ginger doesn't need Floyd, he's making his own status like Oscar did. The kid is a rockstar all on his own. Floyd with that behemoth contract won't be allowed to cherry pick much longer, it'll be him who's forced to crawl back to Alvarez. Khan won't sell outside of the UK, Alexander won't sell outside of St Louis. Money's masterfully painted himself into a corner.

Canelo already has a marketable opponent in Cotto, then more in the winner of Angulo-Lara, and Kirkland.

Has Floyd said anything about making Canelo come to 147 or a re-hydration clause?

Tszyu had signed to fight Hatton before Floyd had even fought Henry Bruseles

Then retired after his loss to Hatton. There was never any chance of that fight happening.

Only idiots who dont know what they are talking about say otherwise

Here is some knowledge for you, I get you didn't follow boxing back then.

Tyzu was fighting only once a year at that point, and had wanted to fight Gatti.

Fight wasnt made because they where on rival networks.

Kosta was a Showtime fighter and Gatti was a HBO fighter. This is why he ended up fighting Hatton. Showtime where unwilling to work with HBO.

    Use some logic now please.

I hope you really don't believe that bull****. Canelo can't even speak English yet. He needs a anti-hero to destroy to reach the next level cause right now he's not doing million buy payperviews, that's fact. Floyd is... Floyd is the universally recognized no. 1 fighter in the world. Canelo is a rising star without a resume. Fact. To ask Floyd to make concessions to canelo is bull****. And you know that.

I agree with some things but Margarito,Cotto and Pacquaio all are top rank boxers and floyd and arum just dont do bussiness together. Not that hard to grasp

And that 147 or no fight move is a ***** move. But floyd has not been quoted saying that and you cant believe everything

canelo cant make 147 without being severely compromised probably moreso than dawson/ward.

if you follow boxing you would know this. this is floyds way of ducking canelo.

if Floyd wont fight the limited canelo, who he would in all likelihood win a comfortable ud decision, he is nowhere near "the greatest" as he proclaims.

ffs, srl, hearns and duran would embarrass canelo. Norris would knock him out. winky toys him and treats him like a little boy.

how the **** does Floyd even mention the word greatest alongside his name if he ducks canelo? beating alvarez is no big deal and no great accomplishment.
