Look, I like Foyd and I love money (as does Floyd). I see NO problems with how Floyd handles his career. I'm surprised at so many of the blind Floyd fans and Blind Floyd haters for not just coming to grips with reality of Floyd

Floyd could give a rats ass about a true boxing legacy. He is living a capitalist dream. There is no real defending of Floyd's actions in a purely boxing sense. His actions are defensible when looking at their financial reward. He is not a "fighters fighter" , "take on all comers" nor will he ever be. He is purely a business man who handles his commodity like its the hope diamond.

 

There is no evidence to say he is ducking Cotto, except if you can read into Mayweather's mind. So far, Mayweather has said that he'll fight Cotto if he becomes even more popular.

You could also say "Cotto is ducking Mayweather". It is the same case.

 

Hmm...Mayweather said "boxing", not "Cotto". You are assuming to much in there, imo.

Cotto will become appealing(in the monetary sense) if he beats Margarito.

riiiight and in the same breath, stated that floyd would have taken the Margarito fight only if Arum would throw Cotto and Hatton fights for 10 mil a peace. this is the same guy that hyped Margarito so much , that margarito thought he could make his own career with out Arum, made a fight with william over the cotto fight for more money only to get beat and almost sued by Arum ... yeah Arum is a real stand up guy .. kick ****ing rocks with this ****.

 

He'll fight Cotto, don't worry about it and it'll be sooner than you expect. Make sure you're reading to hug Margarito's nuts day and night before it's official so no one will say you "Switched" like the rest will when the Cotto fight is over with. :good
