Man, this was real corny. If Tony wanted Floyd he would have beat Paul. He's not a name fighter, and he's really beat no one, but a sorry Cintron.

the true boxing fans know this for sure. Its only a few loud mouthed Fraud groupies that appreciate ducking and cowardice.

This thread seems even better now that Mayweather says that he's retiring for good.

Floyd would rather retire than face Cotto or Margo.

Arum did offer Mayweather that, but so did Baldomir camp which was for the 147 title. So that's not a duck situation.

Leonard didn't wait and wait for a fight with Hearns. Angelo Dundee said that he intentionally avoided Hearns for two years to give Leonard time to mature in the pro ranks. Dundee knew at some point the two would meet but early on it was clear to him that Tommy was too strong for Ray and it wouldn't be wise to pit him against Hearns that soon. It was Ray's trainer/manager making informed decisions with years of professional experience to bring Ray along properly so that he could one day become champion, not just to build the gate.

Agreed. I'll be shocked if he really has retired for good.
