:good read post above well you know Floyd gets special treatment because uh well people are irrational
Tszyu couldn't sell a dollar beer to Kelly Pavlik. He did horrible at the box office in the US. When he put on a clinic against Ben Tackie, the turnout was abysmal. The Ring (or one of these magazines) even had an article after that detailing how unfortunate it was that an excellent fighter like him couldn't sell tickets.
Bballchump. so, do you admit that call out Floyd did to Kostya was pretty meaningless at least. When it was pretty clear fight would not happen.. And beating Hatton does not mean Floyd or his fans have any fukin rights to downplay Kostya's career or have their usual scornfully laught who would have win..
"Cut that out." The first sentence of this thread does not surprise me. Sorry chump, but were you trying to fool everyone with the thread title by making it sound like you're bashing Floyd?
Joe, you do not remember FLoyd calling out SSM and SSM when asked came up with the famous "toothache" excuse. Yes, SSM wanted to fight PBF when the tables were turned (PBF was the big star and now a huge money maker) of course SSM wanted to fight him. He picks Hatton instead (who people claim he ducked) to make an even bigger fight (Hatton had/has a huge following then/now). So then he turns around and fight SSM and everyone complains, now he fights Cotto and everyone complains . . . its a ****ing joke:deal
money wouldve schooled him....**** zab wack ass was even schooling him until his typical getting KOed routine
His whole career was full of action packed fights. He was one of the most fan friendly fighters ever at light welter. I would say even over all. I was always amazed how brutal those fights turned out be many times Kostya was involved considering how much skill he had. yet he made them such a wars even he damn sure had skills to beat them rather easily with out slugging it out.
Zab was schooling floyd ass for 4 rounds as well. Even dropped Floyd:rofl Kostya got that timing on his punches in second round and made quick work of that fool. dumb ass.
thanks bruh it shows Floyd (both really) wanted the fight, but couldn't be made regardless. It's like Ortiz saying he wants Pacquiao
Zu was a very good fighter and an ATG at 140, but he wasn't on PBF level . . . it would have been a great fight but it just shows how things work in the boxing industry
