Everyone has the right to an opinion, however? The facts are that Floyd waited 3 and a half years until Spat hit rehab before coming with an offer. All because he was out of shape?:hey

At every weight class, Floyd hasnt fought certain guy's. If he's really the caliber he believes he is? 147 is the place to PROVE IT. Clean the divison and leave his mark.

If he wants to clean up a thing or two after Cotto, it would go a LONG WAY towards erasing his mistakes.

Spaddy did alright with a really out of shape Mayweather. But Spaddy has skills and he was primed for an upcoming fight when Floyd did that sparring session. So Paul should have been more sharp. Fact remains that Paul can't do **** with a prepared Floyd Mayweather.

With Floyd being out of shape we can only take that as fact considering we don't have more probable evidence to suggest he wasn't.

He wasn't in fighting shape ... he had taken like a month or so off and Spadafora had a fight coming up.

So it was a good idea to step in the ring with a LW Champ 2 weeks from his first defense?:D

Again, EXCUSES! There was plenty of time to make the fight, but it wasnt right until Spat hit rehab:-(

Spaddy was a champ at that point in time as well so I can see the case you are making C money but I don't think he ducked him.

The PROOF is the rehab offer 3 and a half years after the sparring. Spat wasnt in 3 days and a BS offer was in. That proves the point. All the time spent saying it didnt mean anything, talking **** in the papers, a confrontation before the Castillo fight where Spat told Floyd "whats up with right now",who needs the IBF, etc, etc. suddenly CHANGED when Spat was ****ed up.

Especially when 95% of the world saw it as an easy fight. Floyd KNEW otherwise and didnt want the risk. HE NEVER DOES, its sadly the story of Floyds career.

:huh Why should he? Spaddy isn't on his level. Sparring is the most Spaddy should ever get with regards to fighting Floyd....not bashing Paul or anything...he's a good fighter but he's limited. He's really a slick and skilled fighter but no speed, power or excitment. His lone exciting fight was with Dorin who he drew with. And Dorin got smashed by Gatti....the same Gatti that got humiliated at the hands of Floyd whom Paul had the opportunity to spar and SHINE with an out of shape Floyd.
