We're talking about Joe C, not Jeff Lacy. Joe threw over 1000 punches against Kessler too. And anyone who calls Kessler a bum is stupid. Plain and simple.

Please 168 was in the gutter for years during Calzaghe's reign. Sorry Robin Reid does not cut it. I will give him this Kessler was a good win but it is about time, his first decent victory in a decade.

B-Hop cleaned his division out and his wins over DLH, Tito(smaller but better than most of Calzaghes defenses), Winky, Glen Johnson and Tarver are better than anybody on Calzaghes resmue other than Kessler, and maybe Eubank.

He could land on Kessler, he will have a harder time landing and not being countered by Hopkins.

These people are suffering from a mass group delusion. Pity them, it's not their fault!

Not only will Calzaghe's work rate be drastically reduced against Hopkins, because he will pay a price whenever he flurries, but Calzaghe will run out of steam before Hopkins regardless.

Hopkins is simply better than Calzaghe, a fact nobody suffering from the group delusion are willing to admit....but they will learn the error of their ways soon enough.

Calzaghe will beat Hopkins by a wide decision.

I doubt either man will win by a wide decision, but I fully expect Hopkins will win a clear-cut decision with scores resembling 116-112, 116-112, 117-111.

Funny isn't it -- how the pound for pound best fighter on the planet says Joe is one of the best he's ever seen, yet the goons on here can't acknowledge him for being anything other than a bum. ******ed. This is simply a country versus country thing, admit it. And unfortunately, BHOP has made it that way. This is a low-down thing to do, especially as he doesn't even realize that Calzaghe isn't even British, but Welsh-Italian. Well done, Bernard.

If Joe was American you'd be pissing in your pants and telling us how good he is.

If the 168lb division is so bad then why didn't Hopkins make a quick stop there on his way up to 175?...All he had to do was take one fight with Calzaghe, beat him easily....Then move up!

But no, he chose to avoid it because he knew Calzaghe would be a much tougher test than Tarver

After fighting 42 tune up fights, Calzaghe is now ready to see how he measures up to this version of Hopkins.

I have a feeling that he is just another one of those cubic zirconia that the Great Brittain produces.

Yep, Calzaghe is pathetic - 42 fights and his career comes down to chasing Hopkins to try to cement a legacy for himself.

No. You need to realise that Wales is just part of the United Kingdom. Go ask a Welsh guy if he's British and he'll tell you to f*ck off!

Wales is about as British as Canada is American.

What if i said "Are you british?"...and then proceeded to offer him a fine sheep if he answers correctly?

If calfaggi was american I would be embarrassed to have such a girly twat who punches with open gloves represent my country.

I want Hops to beat Calzaghe but here's why I believe he'll lose: Hops lost a close decision to Taylor - not because Taylor is a better boxer than Hops - but Hops was displaced by Taylor's hand and foot speed. Calzaghe has the same amount of speed, if not more, than Taylor. Calzaghe beats Hops on quickness alone.

Either way It should be a good fight that I will attend in Vegas or New York.
